Update as of 11/13/24. In September 2024 I expressed that the app does not allow me to scroll up and down on a journal entry. I write lengthy journal entries for my family to read and unless I physically grab the cursor, I cannot scroll up or down the page. And if I click off of the cursor the page freezes and doesn't allow me to move. I paid for the $200 journal plus so I feel like for the price, a simple scroll bar should be an easy fix. I just updated the app and the problem persists.

when i found out about this app, waffle, i felt really excited! i couldn't wait to share it with my friends. but when i downloaded it, i dound out that most of the fearures (for which i was excited) were all included in the premium plan. now, i'm a student and not everyone can afford to get the premium plans for applications. i wish that some of the features, atleast one or two, could be included in the basic plan as well, so that we could enjoy writing waffles without getting bored…🧸🥞🍪

Really Really wished i could go on the app offline. Im not always connected and id like to write something down without internet and then it would automatically sync once I'm online. Also it takes so long to load when the app opens. Otherwise i love this app! and I'm so glad to have come accross it.

Why does it no longer show when the other person has read your entry in a shared journal? And is there a way to fix the ability to scroll up and down when you're writing?

I use this app everyday to journal with my boyfriend, but today, its crashed every single time I've tried to open the journal. Nothing I do will fix it. My boyfriend doesnt have this issue. Edit: wow, they quite literally updated it today that's crazy! It works again, so thank you :D

EDIT: As of Aug 11th, 2024 my previous grievances have been fixed. Updating my review to give this app a 4/5⭐ review. My long distance bf and I use this app to journal together. The question of the day prompts are great for encouraging journaling on days you may not have much on your mind. Knocked a single star off due to some bugs & the lack of ability to pay a lump sum for permanent plus status rather than a subscription. All in all, great app!

Love the app! Only complaint I have is that, Me and my boyfriend uses this app to journal but there's this bug that won't let us open our journal. I thought it was just me so I asked my boyfriend and turns out he has the same bug! Would be thankful if it gets fixed thank you ☆

I honestly don't get it why people isn't aware of this app yet. It is the most useful and aesthetic journal app I ever discovered. The features are not visually overwhelming. It is very therapeutic indeed.
