I tried 4 room temperature apps and this one was most accurate I tried. The refresh button works. I couldn't find refresh option on other apps.

The offset is confusing. How is it calibrated to a more correct room temp vs CPU temp ?

Had hoped it would have some accuracy but sadly it's showing 3.2 degrees higher than true room temperature. I can only think that the sensor is being overridden by the temperature of the phone itself. So in other words it's a bit dim! Can't say it's worth keeping. However I had a reply from the Developer saying the phone should be put flat on the floor to get an accurate reading. That's crazy. Being disabled I can't reach the floor so would have to drop the phone. Impractical non solution.

Just what I was looking for in an ambient temp app (and a bit more) - nice simple layout, easy on the eyes, easy to read, read accurately + gave me all the basic info I wanted, plus the temp of my CPU & battery, and the outdoor humidity all on one page, very useful. Thank You! ML

This overall is pretty good. I would have given this a 5 star but I would like to see a little more description of what the purpose of the Settings are and how to use them. There is a brief description but turning something on/off gives wildly different readings and there is nothing to explain what I'm looking at. Do you select Sensor Calibration then Temperature Correction? What is the purpose of the Heat Offset. Maybe the developer could put some instructions on the Google Play page.

Look people, any app that claims to be able to tell the temperature of room you're in is lying to you. There are thermometers in your phone which is what this and other apps read. Then they do some math to offset the heat of your phone... And it's impossible to know for sure how much to subtract. These apps are ALL about serving you ads. You can be in a 60F room and use your phone watching videos so it heats up and the apps will suddenly say your room is 70F+
