edit: seems to be fixed with a recent update. now the app is great, functions as intended and is less confusing than using a browser on mobile. Love the website, app just gives a blank white screen. Tried clearing cache and data, reinstalling, can't get the app to work. Android 14 on s22+

There are some features from the browser version I'd like integrated into the app, particularly in regards to adding additional filter and sorting options when browsing the courses store. A few options in your course settings also appear to be missing in the app. Otherwise a stellar app, I love grinding puzzle books on it

Yesterday I would have said this app deserves a 10. Today it sucks! You used to be able to get a lot of short courses for free, and I was learning a few, then I open it up to practice and suddenly the courses I have been working on are pro-exclusive. I get that they need to make money, but I can't pay for pro and I can't buy the big courses. Those short free ones were awesome! I put hours into them. Now, I'm probably gonna delete my account and stop recommending chessable to people.

I was initially using chessable on their website, but it seemed to noticeably help my chess game improvement, and the format was entertaining enough that I looked for an app on a whim and there happened to be one. Coming from the website UI to an app based interface can drastically alter your experience but it's just as easy on the app as online. Well done

Going from total beginner to now intermediate strength, it helped me learn alot. I saw some people criticize how it teaches you the moves you've gotten wrong, as it plays the move over 3 times. I'm 50/50 with that because the repetition did help me learn the moves, but I can understand how it's beneficial to start over from the beginning opposed to just continuing. Right now the app is not letting me access any lessons at all. Not sure why. I can't search new lessons. Please fix. Til then 4 star

I use the website and the concept is solid. However, the app falls short. Crashes and gets stuck multiple times. For instance, the "daily streak reminder" countdown screen bugs out and you have to restart the app. 4 stars, hoping they fix it.Update 03/02/23: The app is so clunky. Even if the course is downloaded, it still freezes and bugs out after completing a variation. This doesn't fix the issue. Inconsistent and buggy. 1 star.

App is okay. Courses seem good. MAJOR ISSUE: the quizzes play the correct move, and then move the piece back. Which spoils the whole thing. There's even a hint button but you literally showed me the move. Also hitting the back button logs you out of the app for some odd reason. Oh, and the bishop and knight are weirdly small compared to the pawns. (Just something I noticed)

If I could critique one thing, there should be an analysis option or button which let's you consult the engine while studying openings from specific positions. This is a feature on the website version, and it's annoying when I want to quickly understand why certain moves fail/succeed and don't have that resource available. Please add this feature soon.
