Thank you for this app. I saved my android stock browser bookmarks into Bookmark-Folder (via Share) and then exported them to HTML file, which was then imported into B-F on my new phone. I will now use this app as the centralized bookmarks store which can be opened in any browser. This will save much time in transferring my bookmarks (increased) again when I change my phone in future. One suggestion: make it possible for me to "share" multiple bookmarks into a folder instead of doing it 1 by 1.

Very good tool, but one think to add, after I do a format and restored backup dat file, everything is back except one thing, the developer forgot those link that was saved initially by Youtube App before, when I choose those links in the Bookmark Folder folder created by Youtube videos, they ask me to choose which BROWSER to open those url links, these are Youtube videos and not Browser Based App..so they should have thought of these as well...the option to open them by YouTube App was NOT there.

The app has been great. Up until the last update. It fails to auto update now. It pops up an error message that says *Running* then locks up, then says failed to update check settings. I tried going into the auto update file path, as the help section suggested, but it just locks up on me. Pops up the same error message. I can't seem to fix it. It's disappointing. I really like this app. Is anyone else having this issue? Please help? Thank you. UPDATE: It has been fixed. Thanks. 🙂

Really like the app since I can share it directly from the webpage right into folders I can set up. Downside is that the ads that pop up are too big when saving the bookmark; they cover the bottom of the window that I can hit save and the "x" is so small it's a bit difficult to gwt out of it. Overall it functions quite well and am pleased.

Since Firefox recently screwed up its mobile interface making it almost impossible for me to use my bookmarks toolbar, this app has come to the rescue! Now I can hit the back button and go to the next site in just two clicks. And it works with any browser. Much appreciated! UPDATE 8/20/21 - I just upgraded to a new phone and the app transferred perfectly. This app makes browsing on a mobile device exactly what it should be. Thanks again! UPDATE 10/16/24 - Still the BEST!!

Very handy app with great support from the developer. EDIT 2024.10.12: After the last three updates, the app is now so slow when editing or adding records. .... "Running." Edit: I changed the import/export setting to exclude images from backups, and the issue is resolved. Perhaps a warning in the app would help.

This app works very well for managing bookmarks. I tend to find it much easier to use then going through browser bookmarks. I wouldn't mind seeing a better way of saving bookmarks to a cloud service, but that's not a big deal. I highly recommend this app if you need to manage your bookmarks on your device!

Bookmark Folders has been an extremely helpful app for me for at least 5 years. I probably have 100 folders and 1,000 subfolders. They are easy to set up, and I have lots of resources at my fingertips.
