Having lived in several parts of the country and having adult children who are scattered around, I utilize several TV News apps. This is by far the junkiest, most cluttered of the category I've ever encountered. I have a son in Greenville, so I am stuck with it. But if you're going to use it, get used to video ads popping up every time you want to read a story, and getting headline alerts that lead to nothing when you click on them. It's trash, but it's trash I'm stuck with.

The app has been wonderful for the past couple of years. Early last week it started acting up, shutting down, not opening news articles, etc. I checked for updates, uninstalled, reinstalled with no success. I did send a message via the app about this problem and I can't get a response. That in itself concerns me since I use the app for local news. I'm having a problem, either my end or your end, and would like to resolve as this has always been a 5 star app that I've recommended to many people.

I have been watching WITN News app on my cell for several months. In the past couple weeks it has changed completly. It won't run but less than a minute, only starts with weather, freezes, is covered with ads to the point I only have about an inch of the viewing screen. THIS APP IS USELESS AND I AM GETTING READY TO DUMP IT.

It changed when updated I'm on an Android phone and now when I live steam I cant get it show the whole screen . I have to keep scrolling up and down to see reporters and headline text at the bottom. Other than that I love this app I use it daily for my construction job. Shout out to Jim Howard long time fan. Good ol neither of either and the double nickel 😎😎 I stuck my foot in my mouth it a new update that fix it i just hadn't done it yet

UPDATE: 2/26/2019....My saved articles have disappeared.The option to save articles, PERIOD have disappeared, at least from my device. Is this app screening certain articles on certain people devices now🤔UPDATE 10/10/19 I have to force close this app and restart device, to shut down the audio from a video, playing in the background...go figure on this one🤔

The problems listed below have resurfaced. Will not load on andeoid phone or tablet. I've unstalled/reinstalled with no luck. This used to be a great app. Something has changed over the last 2 weeks. Now the article never appears, it just spins. This is true on both my phone and tablet.

Thru Android App, one used to be able to "Share" articles thru email, texts, Facebook, etc. Also, one could save an articles in .pdf & other formats, but not anymore. WITN7's App is the only App I use & have used for years. The weather, especially radar, weather alerts when dangerous weather is approaching, & SO much more with the weather, is why I keep using the App. If it wasn't for the changes to the App, then I'd of given 5 stars!

I loved this app. It was my go to for local news and weather. Now when I tap on the news...I get a page full of links to garbage stories...nothing about my local news. I have to now go into the main menu to select Local News. Sadly...I will be uninstalling and finding an app from another news station.
