This app saved my life! Sometimes you need to record things in your life, but if the other person knows, they'll either self correct or escalate things. But thanks to this app I was able to start recording from the lock screen and then put my phone "away" while it's recording. If you are in a DV situation, I absolutely recommend using this app to document your experiences.

Wanted to use this as a 'BodyCam' which keeps recording when the screen is off. But the 'subtitles' section doesn't seem to allow recording GPS data onto the video (ideally a map with street address lookup would be useful). I tried "Droid Dashcam" app, it's pretty good but lacks a small map with 'breadcrumb' track embedded into the video.

The application is really great, I ride a motorcycle and the feature really suits my need. I used it as my dashcam and secret recorder for my security during my ride. Recording while having google on my screen. One question though. Using my default camera the video recorded on my night vision lense is smooth while the a bit grainy in this app. It is using the IR LED. I could not find any setting to improved it. Is there a plan for updates? My phone is oukitel wp39.

Excellent app. There are no full screen ads or pop-ups. Just unobtrusive overlays. You can easily choose any lens for both cameras . I had a bug where the widget wouldn't start recording and it said because I didn't allow it to display over top of other apps. But I did have it allowed. After I closed the Uber Driver app which also displays over top other apps, this issue went away. Even with Uber Driver open the issue has not come back. Not sure if that was the cause/fix of the bug.

It seems to continue recording but then only saves one hour of it...is that an android thing?? I disabled battery operation, lowered resolution, and kept phone plugged in. I'll change the stars if I get a fix on this. App still came in *really* handy even tho only for an hour! Edit: thanks for responding! I want to record all night as a security camera. It only saves 3 or 4 hour-long files but no more than that. I have plenty of storage on my phone. Updating from 2 stars to 3

Don't waste your time with this app. It is complete. Garbage. Keeps shutting off on itself every time my screen shuts off even though I set the proper permissions
