Needs more features. I would like to see the standard buttons for controlling the dvd functions, such as the basic 'Pause/Play', 'Next' and 'Previous', 'skip forward' and back in its own section, and one for cd specific. Then have a one for bluetooth audio. Also, when controlling the dvd menu from the app, it would be nice if it didn't activate the screen, meaning no visual prompt of the on-screen buttons. A better interface of what's currently playing along with album art would be great.

I find it hard to believe that Kenwood has their name attached to such an awful app. Such a high-quality company and such a low-quality app. This app will not connect up most of the time. The buttons will not change channels or they'll cause audio clips on your phone to start playing. This is about one of the most pitiful apps I've ever downloaded. Please Kenworth make this work I need this app.

I don't normally give reviews, but this app needs to be improved. My issues: 1-continually having to reset connection on radio or having to force stop the app for it to work. 2-While adjusting EQ, for no apparent reason, sometimes when I hit save all the frequencies jump to the highest setting, forcing me to start all over again; frustrating! If the app worked correctly, it would be good to have as it makes adjusting the EQ much more convenient. Kenwood, let's get this fixed.

v2.0.3 is absolute GARBAGE. It won't even allow you to add your music player apps (including Pandora) to the quick launch area. If you want proper functionality on Android 11 (disregard the nag message that it's "for an older version of Android") install v1.9.9, which works PROPERLY and quite well! I hope this helps others who want access to their music apps...

Works great. Had to figure out that the "mode" switches the preset swipe settings to the press button remote control. Which I honestly feel for user friendliness, the remote should be the default. Not the swipe settings and music playlist that is hard as hell to figure out how to navigate away from. Aside from that works perfect with my DDX396!

Crashes Everytime I start the app.no longer supports Android 10. I have contacted Kenwood/JVC several times over a few months and they claim they are working on it. It's not that hard to maintain and update an app. Come on!! Dual eletronics and Pyle apps are up to date. I spent a lot of money on a Kenwood setup and this is what I get. TERRIBLE SEVICE!

Massive Disappointment. I can't so much as get into the app itself. Opening the app asks me to allow a bunch of permissions (which I do), then it pops up with a window saying it "needs permission to function." If I press okay, it closes the app. That's it. No indication of what permission it needs. Nothing. Wow... Just wow...

Galaxy S6. Was able to make a BT connection to my DPX594BT and play music using other apps over BT Audio, but I was curious what extra functions (equalizer,source, etc..) this app had that might be handy so I tried it. The Head Unit and this app couldn't connect. Got error: "Connection is not possible with Android 7.0. Please update to a newer Android version". Yeh, sure. Like I'm going to update to a phone that costs much more than the head unit.
