Such a disappointment. Was looking forward to being able to play with friends in the living room and got excited now that this has been released. However, no matter how many times we input the code from the console, they would never connect. Even downloaded the other version of this app that asked for a pass code assumed it still meant the code for the game, and even it didn't work. Not worth the frustration.

Meh... I hope it gets better. The companion app is not updated at the same time as the game. The host and the players all got disconnected due to an update and now we cannot connect to their game because we aren't running the same versions and there is no companion app update. This seems like a massive oversight. I also hope to see a change to portrait mode that will allow someone to pick where to move without a stylus. I guess we have to use tablets? Why create a mobile version then?

Played a few matches and there weren't any desyncs/disconnections so they played out all the way. No telling if we got lucky but it does bode well compared to the previous version. I love the QoL changes. The fact that AI takes over if a player DOES disconnect is a massive improvement, no more soft-locked games. That combined with the ability to have an AI take over for you if you're out of the game makes this THE way to play Clue digitally. My only gripe is forced landscape mode.

Great idea but needs work The notebook is the most important part and they made it super small. It should be portrait so you can zoom in and see the whole thing. It also requires everyone to say continue even if it's not their turn so you waste a lot of time waiting for other players to mark. It needs an easy button to hide the notebook from the people in the room

The main game on the apple app store states for ipad version: "LOCAL PLAY MADE EASY — Download the Cluedo Companion App on your phone and easily keep your notes and cards close to hand." This app doesn't let you join games hosted on ipad, it says the game doesn't exist. So it is useless and the game cannot be played locally. Needs fixed.

Have just downloaded this to use with the PS5 game and it works perfectly!

A website based version may have been a better choice ala Jackbox. This app needed to be designed in portrait mode instead of landscape, so that the clue sheets fill the screen, zooming would not be necessary if d signed that way for most players. . The constant prompts for people that aren't actively participating should also be removed.

Problem joining with code. Something with host not allowing. Bit all the settings are correct. We played 2 times this week went to play again and we all keep getting errors. Very disappointed.
