The app is updated pretty regularly . There are two problems though. The first is that after scrolling and reading a story, the app takes me back to the top of the page instead of letting me keep scrolling from where I was. The second problem is the doubling up on a story. It's annoying to be scrolling and seeing the same story multiple times.

The ability to imply scroll down through easy to scan stories is great. Many news apps try to "improve" user experience but changing the layout, but end up with clutter and confusing navigation. Scroll down with news stuff at the top and older stuff as you descend. Sections are simply listed across the bottom of the screen. Again, simple and efficient. Would like to see a few more new stories every day, especially on weekends, and possibly a GOOD NEWS section (in these days of division).

February 2020 update from 2 to 5 stars, since the app works well now, but sometimes the weather alerts don't open to the right page in the app. App closes constantly for well over a week so it's worthless, but when working it's still better than the local NBC and CBS apps. The 'fix' recommended worked for a few hours.

Videos buffer at a speed that makes you think it's 2007 and the app crashes 100% of the time you scroll all the way to the bottom of the main page. Also, their proofreaders are absolutely terrible. It's rare to find an article without at least one obvious spelling mistake, so it really makes you question if the actual reporting is of any higher quality than the proofreading.

My rating is one🌟. Because it's does not provide news, it a marketing tool. So disappointed. A waste of time. I'm uninstalling it. I want to receive my morning LIVE news from you all. But, the Denver 7 news app provides more advertisement than news. Before you get to the news your given a long commercial, and then provided one small news story and teaser of upcoming stories then back to more commercials.

Grammatical and spelling errors galore, and stories are often not updated, even when there is specifically a statement that says it will be. Also significant current stories are often not covered, but are on the apps for other channels such as Channel 9 and Fox 31. The only reason I keep it installed is because of the radar for weather.

It's a propaganda machine accessorized to make you obay or else be engulfed with fear. The app tracks everything about you and is brimming with advertising that is perpetually open in the background draining your battery while tracking your location. The app has 100x too many permission request as if Denver 7 is maliciously data mining for their own bidding, at your device's expense. The weather forecasting is ok most times though €€7

Pretty bad. This app looks and behaves like it's from 10 years ago. The back button closes out the app regardless of what you're doing. There are no settings, so there's no way to change your weather location without giving it location access.
