EDIT: Thank you to the response which fixed my issue regarding the lights being all synced, a toggle fixed it! So to update my review: I'd say the app is overall fine, light dancing works fine but it definitely only works with lower bpm/predictable music, not high bpm DnB for example. I'd also say it's also missing a bit more effect variation, as after around a minute it becomes apparent all the effects which this app shuffles through. Overall fine I'd say but I couldn't use it for too long.

A true crowd pleaser! I've been using and loving this app for a few years now, and it's always great seeing the reactions of friends/family when my LIFX suddenly sync up with the music. I'm curious, do you have plans to support more platforms in future? With LIFX no longer in Europe, I'm slowly transitioning to TP-Link Tapo lights. It would be great to sync these, too! Keep up the good work 🌟

Was a great app but has some issues. First issue is I could never get microphone syncing to work. It would not react to audio even after giving microphone access. Second, today it has used 45% of my device battery of background usage. I have not opened the app at all and when I did the sync feature was off. I forced stopped and disabled background usuage in the settings, but the background usage time keeps going up! I will likely need to uninstall to stop battery drain this app is running rouge

It works great when you are using the app and your phone to stream music. The moment I switch my Spotify stream to my pc, and then open another app. after 10 seconds the lights freeze. Maybe this has to do with Spotify not telling my phone what song it is playing on my pc so it cannot tell the iLightShow app what song it's playing, but it is kind of a bummer. Maybe with some searching I can find how to fix it, if it is fixable. For now I'll have to do with using Spotify on my phone

Best app for the Philips Hue i've used, and totally worth paying for the pro version. The app syncs with music directly through your spotify app which produces better light patterns than the ones that sync through the microphone. Only reason I didn't give a full 5/5 rating is because you can't control multiple lights separately (ie. All lights must be the same color, can't have each light be a different color).

I'm putting 4 stars for playstore but is a 3 for me. There are two things I am looking for this too become 5. This app is a 5 if it's slower chilled music but it struggles with things like trance or other high bpm music. If one can have more customizable options in an advanced settings to help combat this and for even more improvements for making one's house become a club, that would quickly make this 5 starts. I do have the premium version, because this is great work as it can use Tidal.

The developer quickly responded to me and informed that he's working on a new release of the software. My original complaint is about the syncing of the lights appearing to be random instead of actually syncing. I will give three stars now because the developer was so quick to respond and with a possible solution. I will withhold judgment until the new version comes out. Thank you Nicolas.

*NOT WORTH THE MONEY* This app is very over priced. Double the price of Hue Disco for just having the functionality for Spotify. The trial is only one bulb so hard to tell if it will be any good. It does move in sync with the beats however on a set up of 12 bulbs, it really doesn't have a great disco lights effect. I would avoid buying unless the developer brings down the cost.
