This app is really, really bad. Latest update causes app to crash way more frequently. Receiving notifications is hit or miss. Many false alerts and can't determine what is setting them off since app will only frame a human. How about framing whatever is setting the alarm off? Duh. Spend youroney on another camera system.

The camera is great! Software needs major improvements! Won't stay logged in, and you can't get notifications when it's not logged in. Notifications are sketchy at best. Hit or miss on human detection as well. Can't go to the website and get help because it's in Chinese. App improvements would be greatly appreciated!!!

I've had issues with the app not allowing me to delete videos from my SD card. Before I charged it and turned power off on cam, it was working fine. Have to charge battery almost daily! 😒 but I've done EVERYTHING I can to figure out why I can't delete videos and NOTHING works! I've uninstalled app, reformatted SD card, reset camera, checked app settings, messed with every setting in the app, I've done LITTERALLY EVERYTHING and nothing is solving this issue! Prob sending back camera!

The quality of this app seems to be plummeting. I left a review months ago about the known issues at the time in regards to it not supporting multiple devices viewing the cameras at the same time. But the recent updates they made have proven to have made the notification alerts worse. Half the time it doesnt record movement. Which defeats the purpose of feeling secure and having 4 cameras. Pretty disappointed will probably have to get new cameras with a different provider.

The camera itself does a good job. The app, however, is another story. It used to detect humans' movements. No matter what settings, the camera very briefly records people and almost immediately moves away. We tried moving the camera to different locations, but the results were the same. AI controlling app, would rather record the moving ⁰cars and boats outside, or even stare at the wall. Even controlling camera' via app doesn't help. The camera simply does not care for people. Can you blame it?

Great when it works. When the camera is actually online and working, it works wonderfully. App is easy to navigate. But lately the camera has been offline more than not. It's not the Internet. Everything else works great on the same network. The app doesn't offer help beyond basics. Truly frustrating when you rely on it for security purposes.

It works some of the time, but not always. It's hard to know which faults are due to the camera and which to the app on the phone. The camera (a Hawkray) images are brilliant, but the results are not reliable. There are many false positives (recorded images that show no movement) and some missed positives (movements not recorded by the camera). The documentation is terrible (there is no manual that covers all the app's functions). Customer support was was either non-extent or feckless.

You need to fix notifications! They were bad with the previous version but far worse with this update. It is completely hit or miss (mostly miss) as to whether I will get notified of a motion event. 90% of the time, a notification will only come through if I am actually using my phone at the time (no notifications if the phone is locked and resting). This is completely unacceptable of something that is supposed to be a security device!
