This app couldn't be more useless if the developers were actively trying rather than simply ignorant. If you have an outage, the app will pop up with a message and a "More Info" button. Clicking on that button takes you to the website where you receive a message "no outages in your area". The app literally redirects you to the site for EVERYTHING, and WITHOUT FAIL the two are never in sync. As a developer myself, I would be embarrassed to put out this level of garbage.

Always having internet issues and even with the extender, I can not get service throughout my home. Customer service is terrible, and anytime there is an issue with the internet, the app always says the service is running smoothly. I just want a technician to come out and set up the internet correctly so that my entire home can get uninterrupted service, but NO, every single day, we have internet issues. If you have an alternative option, I would go with them and avoid Optimum. Terrible service!

We have had several outages this year already (and have one just now). To view the outage map in the app, I have to log in first, then click on the outage map. But instead of showing the map in the app, it opens a web browser where I have to log in again just to find out "Your service status is not available at this time. Please try again later." Please fix your service. The amount of outages are getting out of hand.

The app works okay... it's optimum I have the problem with! My bill has continued to rise since they took over. I still get the same service though. I've never upgraded!! I get phone and internet. I pay $200 a month for spotty internet!! It keeps going out!! I told them about it and scheduled a tech to come out and check the neighborhood. They canceled the tech!!! As soon as a new cable company comes into the area, I'm gone!!

Internet normally works great although this past week not staying connected. Having to reboot multiple times an hour at times then it will work for a while. Very intermittent on and off over the last couple weeks. The bill has only increased and they are the only service in this part of town. Making it difficult financially for a person on disability income.

Can't pay my bill because it's down for maintenance, can't call an automated bill payment line either because you only allow phone call payments during business hours. Why you haven't come up with a fully-automated payment helpline, I'm not sure, but it's pretty inconvenient when the app/online bill payment portal doesn't work. I'm considering ending my service agreement with Optimum, the bill just creeps up higher and higher- used to be $95, now it's over $130/month for no reason.

can't make changes to router, just loads website with same error that equipment can't be reached. Edit. I talked with app support and they were able to fix my access issues very quickly! When I had called support, they told me to just wait and it would just start working. I've updated my review as now the app is useful for making changes to my wifi. Hopefully more options become available, it's still frustrating that we cannot make more changes, like bridge mode.

I don't think it's the unmitigated disaster that many reviewers characterize it as, but as a replacement for the Optimum Support app it's definitely lacking. Things I like: Auto-signin actually works, automatically, without requiring taps from me. Things I don't: Entire "Help" section (w/ links to outage map & info) is missing; connection troubleshooting is painfully drawn out and plodding; if it FAILS the *only* option presented is to **CALL** Optimum. Not even chat: call!! I don't want that.
