The texting and other things is great! But what took off so many points is the small benefits you can have without text free+ or whatever it's called. I really need a verification code, and I don't have enough money to buy text free plus, and my actual phone number isn't working. I strongly advise you to at least let simple things like verification codes work. Please. Thank you for reading

After you download and familiarize, the app forces you to rate it with 👍🏼👎🏼. After that, it's downhill - App is slow to open and navigate. Way too many ads. Ads interup your texting and slows you down from getting your message done and sent. Calls do not connect, even though it shows that it is. You have to keep calling back the same person before you can hear each other. I guess thats what you get for a "free" service. 🤭

I've tried a few of these type apps and they always become a pain to use and unreliable. Text Free has been awesome to use. Texts are sent and received very quickly and calls are clear on both ends. Pictures come in clear and don't look all blurry. It's been great. I use it enough that I'm not worried about losing the number after 30 days of being inactive but I'm still considering upgrading to the paid plan just to remove adds, they aren't a major issue but they do get annoying while texting.

Been trying to make a call for 2 years I sent screenshots and everything and no response... I guess it's just false when it says u can make calls.,... As far as texting .. I would use another app... I would not recommend this app at all because there isn't any support at all and all u can do is text which takes hours to receive or End

This app no good to me can't text free misleading information the app is called text free bad title for app should be called something else. Trying to look for an app you can get an invalid number with unlimited calls and text without being some scam to fool people just to waste their precious time downloading just to discover that you have to subscribe or pay to get more out of it. Like most run in with this kind of app I am uninstalling as of now very stressed and frustrated with this.

When it works you can text and call but ads interfere with making and receiving calls and texts. Wish it was better but you get what you pay for and for free it works some of the time, don't recommend if you can't miss calls, it doesn't ring or notify you even if you have notifications on! its really unreliable poor signal quality 5 ft from my internet router so there's that as well. If you download this app all I can say is God speed!

Great app. Gets the job done. I can deal with the ads they are there but not too annoying.But why is there no search feature?You can not search through past messages...Edit: at some point on a recent update, something was changed where if you don't have internet you cannot even open the app.It takes you to a Google play "no internet game" you can play instead. Really dumb because there should be no reason I cannot view the texts on my device without internet.Edit 2:could open w/o internet b4.

There's always an AD and it takes up a quarter of the screen. When i first started using this app a couple months ago every 15 seconds the calls switch back and forth to speaker phone. As of 2 weeks ago, it's permanently on speaker phone and lowering the volume does nothing. EDIT: Company responded here and just talked about why there's ads and didn't respond to the volume problem, but gave me an email that you can't send emails to. Terrible app and terrible customer service
