App crashes every time you try to take a picture, takes forever to start up, you can't pick any reasons when you select "can't complete tasks. Floods you with shifts where if you click on them, the screen goes blank and requires the app to be restarted. Update: on the newest version , the app doesn't even start at all, fantastic stuff.

Picked up a product testing gig where they take all of your electronics upon arrival so as not to interfere with the testing technology. Because I was unable to respond to notifications sent by shiftsmart (since the client had my phone and smart watch), I was marked as a no-show. After completing the testing, I was given back all of my technology and saw the notifications. I immediately opened a support ticket. It's been 6 days. I've reached out twice and have yet to receive a response or paymen

The app doesn't work the way they think it does. When reporting a shift issue (no check-in codes or turned away) we aren't always able to attach a pic.They state in email a pic on-site is required. I have had to fight to get paid in ALL no codes check-ins. Was refused payment 2 of 3 latest shifts. (1 turn away, 1 worked). A 5 minute call could handle these situations, but instead are getting out of paying by forcing app only reporting, which doesn't always work. This also screws up metrics

Shiftsmart is a good idea at its core but isn't very user friendly. Sometimes you don't get paid despite doing the work, and you end up spending more time fighting with the app than actually working. What is incredibly frustrating is the lack of a dedicated support team, I've sent over a dozen ticket requests with no reply. The one saving crazy is the small handful of employess who bend over backwards to help. Thank you Kevin and Gloria

The app is legit but it's frustrating to use. What the app doesn't say is that your first shift is actually going to be a training course. It wouldn't be a big issue if there were actual shifts to book afterward! After two days, I was finally able to book a shift, only to be told that I had to complete a background. I went ahead to submit my info, but when I hit back to hide the keyboard, it took me all the way to the homepage. Now my background is "incomplete" and I am unable to update it.

I've been taking shifts for 7 mos and here's what I have learned. There is no support for any shiftsmart "partners." Don't pick up any backup shifts! It tells you to go to the store and check in. Once the primary either shows up or doesn't, shiftsmart is supposed to call you to either release you, or tell you to work. They don't. I spoke with the primary person before the shift was supposed to start and then 0waited in the parking lot for the ENTIRE shift. No phone call. Don't use Shiftsmart.

App is super glitchy/buggy. Shifts you accept disappear and then randomly re appear after it's over. you will be docked on your reliability points for it too. I've sent several emails to support just to be ghosted by them. flex shifts aren't really flexible. you can't choose a time between the time frame given. while you're at a job site, the app times out, kicks you out and will even make it hard for you to "complete tasks" even if you finished everything physically. I wish this worked better

This app is not good. My sister and I have downloaded it and have BOTH been given "no-shows" for reasons we have no control over. I was signed up for a shift when I hadn't even been in the app. no-show. My first attempt at working I drove 25 minutes only to be told the shift was posted in error and there was no work for me. no-show. My sister was signed up for a shift 2 states away...no-show. There seems to be no way to contact a human about these issues either.
