Purchasing prepaid through the app with esim is impossible, it has never worked. Multiple attempts throughout the years, the process is completely broken. Telstra support are morons, so the only answer is to go into a store. What's the point of offering and allowing someone to purchase esim through the app if you cannot and do not support it.

Telstra, clearly from the amount of reviews with customers not being about to log in due to the app continually closing and people not being able to reinstall it there is obviously an issue with the app. This is the only way I access my account and pay the bill so until the app is fixed I can't pay. I guess I will hear from you when my account hasn't been paid.

If you want to pay lots of money, be poorly treated and be ripped off this is the network for you! I took the 'insurance' on my phone, which I was mis-sold as 'insurance' it's not, it's basically a policy that protects them, they get your old phone, wipe your contract then can sign you up on another plan, it's a waste of money. I missed one payment, which I thoroughly accept but it meant that I was exempt from the insurance, what did they do? still charge me with no refund. id steer clear! -5*

Horrible customer service, the whole point of an esim is to not need a physical card. Why is it so difficult to verify an account when I have accurately given the ID number and names only to have it fail multiple times. Customer service from the chat room only respons is to call. I am a tourist and I heard that this carrier is excellent but everything about this experience has been subpar. If I could give a lower score I would but I can't, to all my fellow tourist, go elsewhere to but your esims

Horrendous if you are on fixed income DO NOT USE TELSTRA PREPAID! there mobile signal strength is really poor and you will get told multiple times that they're working on it (over 12 months now) then you will be paying for a new device every 10-12 months as they're cheap Chinese phones that don't work properly on its home network then when you raise issue with customer support you get passed from one rep to another and nothing gets fixed (30+ for 1 issue?) only way to fix anything is T.i.O help

I don't mind the app at all, but the fact I paid for a package that included 70g (had 34g left a day before it 'expired') of data and unlimited calls just to have that 34g of data taken away from me because the package ran out (28 days) makes no sense and is a complete rip off. I paid for it and you took it away? Optus is looking pretty good right now. Thanks👍

Annoying that it keeps logging me out. I dont use the app often, but the widget to quickly see my data usage keeps breaking because I get signed out. Also, why are you guys trying to copy instagram stories/reels with the thumbnails and content. I clicked on one about security because i thought it would show me an article i can skim over to see if its important, but then i get something dumb like its a instragram post. I dont even know what it was because i thought it was dumb and closed it.

Latest app changes are going backwards. Mobile data usage was better shown as a per day graph rather than the new per month view or list view. This is not difficulties in using the app, it is the Telstra app getting worse. PS. The Telstra responses to these comments read like they are a simple AI generated auto-responses.
