For a few years I've been depending on Park Advisor, which is good in its own way, but the Dyrt is so much better at finding BLM and other public lands. I like being able to download campsites for offline use and being able to navigate to exact locations, particularly when there's no signage. I hesitated to get it because of the price but it pays for itself quickly if you prefer dispersed camping, which I do.

Scam. The app barely works, doesn't show all the options in the area. And the ones it does show it says that they are booked out. Literally a quick Google search gave me more options and when I went to the sites of the camping places and called them they weren't actually full. They also stole my money I cancelled after the 7 day trial, and it said it was confirmed the next day I got charged the 38 or whatever bucks. They have yet to respond to me and I have been demanding a refund. Garbage app.

Would give -5. This is dyrt. Much better free alternatives out there. Does not work in poor service areas. They scheme you into "buying" the PRO version and call it "industry standard". It's bs and you won't get your money back. Customer service non existent. I was on the road looking for an interactive map, tried it, it didn't work, deleted it, after my road trip I learned I am a pro member now for a year. Bs.

I got charged for two subscriptions. I accepted the 7 day trial offer and during the trial I accepted an offer for half off an annual subscription. At the end of the trial I was then charged a second time for a full price annual subscription. I now have 2 annual subscriptions, concurrently, on the same account. The Dyrt customer service told me to contact Google Play support. Google Play support told me that only The Dyrt could fix this issue. Edit: refund was issued after this review was posted

great app from what I can see but unfortunately it's just to expensive for somethin I won't use often enough to justify spending $36. I'd like to see apps like this offer a monthly subscription and let ppl decide if they want to spend the money for a yearly subscription. free version shows quite a bit and I'm sure the pro version shows much more but I just can't justify the money. developers, pls use a monthly subscription, say $10, then IF ppl want pro charge them the difference for yearly sub.

Thankfully a reversal finally processed. I don't know what happened. I paid, and there was nothing. No camp sites. I know TONS that are free in the area, and it only had one? Looked like it was still in trial mode even though I paid. I'm thinking that maybe it was really activated after all, and they don't have anything added to their map yet because the app is new. Maybe after a year or so they'll get more sites? Just a bizarre experience altogether. Still don't recommend, even though I have be

This was an accidental purchase. I tried it anyway since I paid for it and didn't realize until nearly a month later. The app COMPLETELY SUCKS. It's difficult to navigate, has constant glitches and speed impacts to android phone, and has NO activity filters!! Most folks pick campgrounds by focus - fishing, swimming, hiking, etc. Yet there is no ability to search for them!! There's also no filters for pop-up campers, or to search for inclusive rv campgrounds. Ridiculousness.

Have been traveling extensively for four years now and have used many apps. Tried the "PRO" trial and it's just an upload of all the Home Depot, Walmart, Costco, Lowe's, etc - I can Google that! I don't stay in those places, anyway - many of them no longer allow it, and I don't want a knock in the middle of the night. If you want real boondocking suggestions try iOverlander. If you want campgrounds this isn't much more help than Campendium (online, no longer an app) or Google Maps search.
