Finally got the lock installed and app connected, but the app is very flakey. 70% of the time, it displays operation failed, even when I'm standing right next to the lock and brand new batteries installed. It's also not possible to tell if the door is locked or unlocked from the app. It's a pretty clunk app. The method to Unlock/lock the door hasn't been well thought out.

Answer to common question: When Ttlock asked for a password to link Alexa, it wants the TTLOCK user name and password, NOT your Amazon password. I left a previous review complaining about the same thing. The random characters don't seem to matter. I did have to enter the information twice. As for the app itself, it still socks. It's not very intuitive and is obviously a Chinese translation. There's quite a learning curve, but it can be figured out with patience.

works but is very very annoying. EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE the pop up prompt requesting to turn on your Bluetooth shows up and holds your screen hostage. very annoying! made me start to look for other brands that use a different software app to control the items... if I'm operating remotely Bluetooth will not work because I'm remote. this response is for the question of is Bluetooth already turned on

I like the TTlock eco system. With 20 years in access control, I have some things I want changed in the app. It would help me to use ttlock more. 1, Ability to disable keypad input on the lock. Keys sometimes get activated when presenting a card to the lock 2, Ability to disable the lockout and alarm when the wrong access it tried 5 times (have alot of issues on residential sites when users only uses card) 3, allow TTHotel Apartment PCBA SN-419 to work with TTLock (currently not supported).

"An app is needed to use this device" - this is the message I receive when I am trying to connect to the app using bluetooth. I downloaded this app last July, same day my lock was installed and since October, the app is faulty, fingerprint always fails and now, we are only able to unlock using keycard. The agent who sold me the lock asked me to uninstall and reinstall the app but it did not resolve the issue. How to resolve this?

Well it would have been a five-star review but for some reason whenever I to open up the app on my new phone, it says sent verification code successfully, I never get it on my phone even with the correct phone number. So right now I can't even get into the app because my old password doesn't work and I can't make a new password because I can't get the verification code. You would think that they could send it by email as well as my phone in case the phone verification is not received.

Okay. It would be nice if you could update the battery status of your locks. No matter how many times you click to refresh the status it just tells you the status it was months ago. The app has also never successfully sent a notification.

It's excellent other than the pointless door sensor. You assign a door sensor to a door. But, only the admin user can get a warning that the door is open, and only in the app. So really pointless having them TTLOCK, please allow anyone to be notified that a door is open!
