Difficult to rate the app when downloaded to the pixel 8 pro, it is not able to lock/unlock the xpeng G6, unless I open thr app and tap the lock icon. It will NOT lock/unlock the car in any other way. And the app often freeze, it must be turned off and on again to work. Whether these issues stem from the application or from the quality or configuration of the Pixel 8 pro`s bluetooth radio, I am not able to say. But maybe Google have the knowhow to address the issue?

The app consumes a lot of battery, especially when using the auto lock/unlock. Also I miss the option to set the charging schedule from the app (start, end time, max percentage). Auto lock/unlock is also very unreliable. Need more functionally, like display battery percentage instead of range left. Unlock button for releasing charger if gets stuck. Receive address directly from Google maps. Support for push notifications, for example when the alarm is triggered. Dashcam functionality? View cam?

Overall experience is very good. Improvements are mainly regarding fine tuning some features like excessive battery usage because of background activity. sometimes auto unlock is not working when approaching vehicle (tried on several devices). I noticed that sometimes the app freezes after phone was upgraded to android 15 (pixel 8) so might be related. But i am sure it is very likely software related and resolvable. A nice to have Feature - to be able to open tow bar remotely.

The app lacks fundamental features. Example, I want to be able to share a location from Google Maps with the Xpeng app and then expect the Xpeng app to be able to send the given location to my Xpeng vehicle. Simple users flows like this are not supported despite the simplicity of adding it through the maps developer APIs.
