It would be nice if tbe graph would also show a number maybe at the top in addition to the line? Also wish the recording option could be changed, as one minute is not very long. I appreciate that this app is free. There are apps out there that feel like they are more sensitive (like vibration meter), but those can be expensive so I'll continue to use this one until I find something better.

Great app! gives me very prompt warnings from usgs data. three issues. dark mode, unable to change the alert sound, and the final issue is there is no visible alert on the phone! only a single notification, which when opened, just opens the app. It would be great to see a map of the epicenter with s and p waves, home and current location, and most importantly, the approximate time til S wave hits. an app that does an excellent job of this is NERV.

It never alerts me about the local shakes in my area yet it'll alert me on shakes happening halfway across the world. A few times I even experienced a live earthquake as I was on my phone wondering if it'll finally send me a push notification, but the app just stayed silent. I did check all notification, location and background permissions, and power settings to make sure there isn't any interference. Obviously no issues there, but it's just not doing its primary job to notify me of MY shakes.

Update: This app has improved since my last review. It's still under constant improvement since it's a developing technology. It's NOT perfect and truly may never be, but ANY improvement on advanced notification may save MANY of lives in the near future! JUST BEWARE: ANY NOTIFICATION of an imminent earthquake can trigger a panic which could be worse than the earthquake itself! The important thing is to have a PLAN!! Don't panic and be prepared!!

1. Enable in Do Not Disturb: 1.1 When installing > Location permission > bottom: "See all MyShake permissions" > Notifications > Earthquake Warnings > Override Do Not Disturb. 1.2 Or, after installation: Touch & hold MyShake app icon > App info > Notifications > Earthquake Warnings > Ignore Do not disturb. 2. "Set HomeBase location" map zoom is a pain. Instead, type the nearest town. 3. To change HomeBase: First "EDIT" > delete icon. Then set it again.

Feral Selector

When I try to report that I feel shaking (one of the options) it just directs me to the major earthquakes previously reported. This is not helpful at all. What is the minimum size to be reported? I knkw there are way more than show on the map. I will be deleting to try to find a better one.

Terrible compared to another app I have. Despite "filters" there's no way to designate a distance for which I get reports. I keep getting earthquake listings for quakes thousands of miles away, when the only quakes that are relevant are those within a 200 mile radius.

The map needs significant improvements in the earthquake icon color shades and sizes. They all look about the same. It's very difficult to distinguish large quakes from small ones.
