I needed a relaxing, casual game I could pick up and play during some periods of anxiety. As someone who loves Monster Hunter, cats, and dress up games, this seemed like the perfect choice. That said, this is a Monster Hunter game in all respects, and that means it quickly becomes difficult and grindy. Fortunately... I'm a Monster Hunter fan, so I love that and can't put it down. The only reason I'm docking a star is that new events are relentless and you can only get the best rewards with cash.

The game itself and the overworld are good parts of the game. Sadly it's been tuned specifically to extract as much money as possible from its players. I'd normally rate it as the stars if it weren't seemingly aimed at children. The first 40 of so stages are fairly generous/easy. Part of that textbook hook they're after. Afterwards they introduce 'hard' missions, which either have too many requirements or too little interactive space to actually do anything within the set total moves. Pay money

Game has been very generous, fun to play, it hasn't been pushy about microtransactions, and I had to go through a whole consent process to watch ads for rewards (that i could customize!) And then it has kept on never forcing an ad, and only really offers after a level fail or 2. Great job, more mobile games that respect you and your time please!

It's an overall fun experience but the RNG is extremely unforgiving at times and usually I'll have to do the same mission over and over again until I either make enough combos to just barely scrape by and complete the mission or it's really easy. The game can be P2W and the boosted ads will sometimes take me into the play store and force the game closed which makes me not only not get the boost but also lose out on a heart for no reason. I'd honestly say save your time and money.

The game is a decent time killer. Monster Hunter is my favorite series and this captures the general theme in a match 3 setting. I don't like that I can't turn of the highlighting suggested move feature. But not a huge deal. My biggest annoyance is how many popups I have to click to decline continuing and start the map again. My second biggest annoyance is how easy it is to accidentally hit the continue button and waste a huge amount of currency.

game is fun overall. Events are deceptive, puzzles are extremely easy at first, but ramps up to impossible without buying items once you get close to real rewards. After thinking you've cleared an event, new levels will suddenly appear with no warning. And optonal boosters, like the boomerang, will not always appear on the screen when choosing them before a game.

TLDR: It's fun if you have money and/or you play while constantly being aware that you're playing a bad game that is actively tries to make you fail because it wants your money. 1. As you progress, you have to clear levels in a ridiculously low number of moves. 2. On top of that, the game forces you to make several useless moves because the piece-dropping AI is dedicated to making sure you only get garbage. 3. Because of the two above points, solving levels is always about luck, never skill.

A fun and cute romp through the more adorable side of the Monster Hunter universe. Unfortunately, some pay-to-win elements begin to hit past a certain level of progress. Also, the inability to turn-off the hint system is a bit grating, too. If you want a quick time waster to not take too seriously to poke at while waiting for appointments or laying in a bath, this is fine until the anti-progression wall becomes apparent.
