This surely has to be one most unreliable device/app combinations. I know the card works as I can sometimes browse it. To make this happen I have to remove the card from my camera and reinsert it. Then the app might find the card. Even if it does the app moans about permissions when trying to download. However the workaround is to share an image to an app. This then works. So glad the card came with the camera as no way would have parted with hard-earned money for this!

This is a great product if you understand what it is for and how to use it. It turns your external camera, like a DSLR, into a natural extension of your phone and its software eco system. You can take photos with your external camera, have them automatically uploaded to your phone in seconds and then your phone will treat them like any photo taken with the phone. If you have automatic uploading enabled for Google Photos, Flickr, OneDrive or such, your DSLR photos will be automatically uploaded as well. Or your DSLR photos will be immediately available on your phone to be posted on social media as if you took them with your phone. FlashAir got me using my DSLR again. Unfortunately, the software is a bit difficult to use and the interface unintuitive. And an option for adding the phone's GPS coordinate to the transfered photos would be a welcome addition. Even so, I give it 5 stars because it offers things almost no other product offers.

No longer works! I've used this app happily ever since Eye-Fi stopped supporting their card, but apparently with Android 12 the FlashAir card will not connect to my phone anymore. I hope there is a fix in the near future. Edited: I had just done the update that allowed me to use FlashAir with Android 12, Now Android has updated my phone to Android 13 and it no longer works. I only got to use it once, before it pooped out again. Please update the app before Android updates again.

The app works with Android 9(Pi) It is when you are configuring the internet passthrough that some niggles occur. When additional images are being shot, just click refresh to get the thumbnails. Just download the files to your phone when connected to the FlashAir card. Switch off the camera. Your phone now connects to the original wifi automatically. Share the files as you would from your phone.

Always pausing during download photos, the current update even forced to turn on GPS this is ridiculous !!! Flashair commander is centuries ahead, because of that I still keep my card ! Update : I reset my phone and Flashair Commander no longer available for download, I've to stick with this piece of junk, it only works when there is no other hotspot nearby, or even it connected it will stop download in the middle and look for other network to connect to this is brilliant !!!

FlashAir is a great tools for old fashion camera :D like mine. However, It kindly have a connection issue with Nikon camera, it always disconnected after a couple of second, about 15 or 20 second. I am using D7000. But, It works great at my Canon camera, 60D, no connection issue, reload automatically, and always sync, and it fast. There is a price for it, it draining my camera battery a litle bit faster. I am not comparing the camera, but i guess its a win for my canon. :D

Once upon a time I loved Flashair. It was easy to use and made transferring photos simple. Now the app won't connect to either of my cards on either of my cameras. So instead of having a seamless continual transfer I have SD cards. Please fix. I don't want to buy more WiFi enabled cards.

Once, I used to love this app, I could seamlessly transfer photos from my card inside my Canon EOS 700D to this phone. Now for some reason, perhaps my OS updating, although the app detects the card, it won't connect to the card and instead pops up the "Unable to connect, cancel/refresh" bar. I'm disappointed. Please update this app, otherwise I won't use it again.
