Seems a reliable app these days, I just don't understand why it allows the screen to go off while you're using the speedo and map. I nearly kill myself every time trying to get the screen back on while I'm travelling along! Please can you make it stay awake or at least make it an option!?

All in all the app does what it needs to. Would appreciate the ability to manually switch the lights on/off since sometimes you're unlocked on a train but don't want your lights on, or your lights were set to off and your phone is dead etc. Have been stuck twice without lights and felt like my smart bike was dumber than a simple switch. In terms of UI, I literally have no idea to this day if the lock button is locked at 45deg or 0deg, yellow or grey!

Soooo... First night with a VanMoof and with their app. First of all I'm disappointed... The bike is not all animated and talkative like the ad I saw 😉 on the other end... The app has all the needed functions but I really hoped to see some graphs of some sort (like battery duration, use of motor / power and similar) but I guess those features would indeed... Consume power 😅 software side I just wish there will be a way to change power settings while riding. ♥

Can't use this app with Google Pixel 3a. I give the app one star because I can't use it. Apparently a known issue. Not sure what other phones the app doesn't work with. "Unfortunately, this is a known problem with the Pixel phone. (I have a Pixel as well so I know exactly what you are talking about). It has something to do with how the Pixel saves a lot of Bluetooth caches"

At first I was really happy with this app. But then it stopped detecting my bike, the icon kept popping up and closing. Then I had to force the app to close an start it again. Then it would work again, for a while, until the next freeze. So actually it is useless. And then I realized my phone's battery is dead in no time. Nice bike though, but the app is really disappointing. Motorola G6 plus.

In use for a week or so now. Easy and intuitive app that works great. The app, together with a VanMoof bike of course, is a great combination. After registering your bike the app works seamlessly with it. Location tracking seems okay too. Suggested improvements to make it even better and make it worthy of 5 stars: street names in map/location view, possibility to navigate from street view (open in Google maps for example).

Great bike, but for all intents and purposes the app simply doesn't work on my Samsung. I need to log off and on every second time 8 use it otherwise it's not connecting, so setting the alarm on automatic isn't an option. Even for manual connection, the app often requires me to lock and already locked bike before being able to unlock it... Pretty much rubbish, but great bike!

The app is easy enough to use. However the connection to the A5 is really bad. I stand next to the bike inside the house and I need to turn off and on the Bluetooth several times for it to work. I've been left stranded in the city because the lock was not unlocking from the app. It made all the sounds except the one inside the lock. I love when the support people say "take it inside and try again". Hello! My bike was not considerate enough to do this close to home, but 5km away. Geez!
