Absolutely trash. It has an ad every 10 seconds. Tried to type in a search box and it was spamming something that I would assume was German or something over and over.

remote keeps crashing. try to watch adventure time and the whole app crashes.

Nonstop ads, i have 3 onn tv boxes in the house and this apps disconnects every 60 seconds and I have to keep reconnecting and choosing my living room tv box. This app sucks but I guess it comes in handy to connect the new replacement onn tv box controller I just ordered.

Set up was pretty simple. Ads were non-invasive. It sometimes took a couple of tries to reconnect with my TV on subsequent uses, but all in all a good substitute until I could replace my broken remote.

Get a real remote. This app is ad intrusive, crashes a lot and sometimes never even finds the TV that you need to control. I literally just had the app quit controlling the TV out of the blue, turned the TV off and back on(by hand of course), reset the app and haven't been able to re connect to the TV yet. Buy a replacement remote, this app is less than mediocre.

App works as it claims. All I needed it for was the volume buttons as my TV or Roku remote is lacking the volume buttons.

Worked without issue for nearly a year. Now several pop ups with built in delays before you can actually use the remote functions. The X to close the popups does not close the window. It looks to a 3rd party website and this delays you longer as it has to open a browser tofollow the link. Only after you wait and close the popup and touch the X a second time does it love and allow you to use the remote. Gonna uninstall now - I just find this latest change a bit too irritating 4 me. 😕

Worst app I have encountered. Every single step performed on the remote takes you an ad first, which you must then close, to execute the function. Plus, it fails to find the tv repeatedly. Waste of time and unfair of Google Play to foist such garbage on unsuspecting customers. Shame on Google.
