The app is a Nightmare, even when you have NFC on it does not work when you Tap. It does not display the "Add to Google wallet", at the bottom when you try to add it this it doesn't work. If I could give zero stars I would. Trimet needs to step up and warn Android users

I used this for a weekend trip that I took, but I was very frustrated because the app did not work properly. I don't live in an area I can use this so when I picked "other amount" instead of auto load the $25, it asked me to confirm and did not show anything other than my amount. It still auto loaded $25!! Customer service basically said too bad, terms say no refunds. I told them I went back to see if I did it wrong, but the dot did not move off auto when I picked other amount. They didn't care.

(1) This is NOT a stand-alone app. It requires Google Wallet to function. The QR code generated by Hop in Google Wallet does not scan on the bus; you MUST use the NFC version. (2) When setting up a new payment method, a bug clears address/card data and kicks you back to the first data entry screen if the screen refreshes for any reason, including the screen rotating. If you are having trouble, turn off screen rotation and make sure you don't need to leave the app while setting it up.

Buying the virtual card in the app was painless, but nothing happened when I tried to tap (every which way, to the annoyance of the drivers) (hint: it has nothing to do with the QR code displayed in Google Pay). Finally I realized that NFC wasn't enabled in my android phone, which is necessary for the reader to communicate with the app. It works fine now, but it was a stressful experience trying to figure it out. It would be helpful to highlight the NFC requirement in your FAQ page.

Often this app won't load the tools. I can usually plan a trip but outside of that, it doesn't work. Sometimes can load the card with little issue. Arrival time tracker? 95% of time won't even load the screen. Can't search a stop. It only loads favorite stops, maybe 8% of time. It's JUST useful enough to keep.

app continously will display incorrect balance and then refuse to load any money, just sits on a loading screen for indefinite time. i try closing and opening it, deleting my cache, connecting qnd disconnecting from wifi, restarting my phone, everything. and it still has this problem. and then if i try to delete my data or the app and then reinstall and try to sign in it doesn't even let me do that! just sits on the login screen loading. please fix this! many of us rely on transit for work.

I was having issues with a payment method, and logged out. Now, I can no longer log in. Accuracy will not update for the Transit Tracker function. The new list for arrivals at favorite spots is super confusing, and cumbersome to sort through. Maybe this could also be informed by the location feature, if that would ever work properly?
