Hi - I got a Pixel 7 and it has well know accuracy issues with the GPS. ActiveGPS has help me with the accuracy, however I still have a chronic lag issue. I take a picture, walk 20 feet, take another picture, walk 20 ft, and take another picture and repeat. Often the GPS will report the location of the previous picture. The GPS is accurate but often does not refresh fast enough that the current location is report. Is there a way to update the GPS faster? Thanks =

Wow! Outstanding. I wrote an app to basicly track inventory outside. Tried for 2 days to collect accurate gps data with a samsung s8+. The GPS readings were all over the place. Installed activeGPS, then ran my program. Set to fast mode. GPS readings were spot on and Fast. Thank you! Accurate data far outweighs the use of the battery. I attached an external battery pack and can run all day. Again, thank you!

Seems to be running as intended with proper permissions set BUT it has a major concern for privacy since I turned it off in the app so no more gps pings correct? Wrong! It still keeps triggering GPS even with it supposedly turned off. If this is a bug then ok it needs to be addressed quickly. I've currently cleared cache, force stopped and revoked permissions and will check back hopefully when the issue is fixed. If not then I'll go ahead and uninstall even though I like the app otherwise.

It is ease to use. But, It does not work as expected at all. I tested with Strava app or Geo Tracker app. Both apps stop recording while screen is locked (off) with installed the app. The app does help or improve GPS logging while screen is locked or off. This app has been amazing for years. It no longer works after a recent update. It has permissions allowed and is set to never sleep. Hopefully it is a bug that can be quickly resolved.

this app really helps me when I need my photographs locationt to be accurate. One improvement would be to make the start/stop button change color to reflect its state.

I have a problem work gps frequency to get higher accuracy results while running, but the app did nothing. When in tracked the run with the turned on app, my track was the same bad as without the app. So it did nothing at all
