Qld Learner Logbook is de gratis en officiële mobiele app van Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads) om uw begeleide autorijden als leerlingbestuurder vast te leggen. Let op: vanaf 26 februari 2020 vereist de app Android-versie 5.0 of hoger. Neem contact met ons op ([email protected]) als u door deze wijziging wordt getroffen.

Met deze eenvoudige en gemakkelijk te gebruiken app kun je je reizen opnemen en laten bevestigen door je supervisors. Alle gegevens worden opgeslagen zodat ze toegankelijk zijn vanaf meerdere apparaten. Met deze app kunt u uw logboek ook rechtstreeks ter beoordeling voorleggen aan het Ministerie van Transport en Hoofdwegen.

Om je te registreren om de app te gebruiken, moet je 16 jaar oud zijn en in het bezit zijn van een geldige door Queensland uitgegeven licentie voor leerlingen.

The app is pretty good except for one major bug. When doing a timed trip the timer resets when the phone is put on or off charge. This needs to be fixed. I cannot report my driving accurately because the timer resets to zero when I turn the car off. It is frustrating and it is annoying. It pretty much encourages falsifying the driving time to make up for the time lost due to this stupid bug.

The app was a very useful tool for me. I often forget to bring my logbook so the email approval was a winner. However, I had some problems with it. I would put in trips then it would edit distance and time. I had to delete then re-add my trips to fix it. I also had an issue with approved trips suddenly reading as not approved. This was an extremely frustrating issue especially with my last trip before I completed my hours! I still love the app though. I'm now waiting for my logbook approval....

The calendar UI is awful. You can only scroll month by month, meaning an 18 year old would have to tap over 200 times to get to their date of birth. I was told the account with my email already existed, so my registration failed. Except it turns out there wasn't, and I had successfully registered, and been told I hadn't. The issues with UI and and a false negative trying to register need fixing, please.

Has good functionality when it works, simple and easy to use. Frequently takes ages to load or crashes multiple times before it finally loads, which frequently makes the live trip functionality useless since it doesn't load in time for when I need to start driving. So I resort to taking photos of the odometer and clock at the start and end of the trip and putting it in manually later. Would be 5 stars if this problem didn't occur.

Okay I finally managed to sign up, but during the process you get stuck with a calendar style popup that makes you tap back from the current month, one month at a time to when you're actually born. Which is way too many. Hope you guys fix this, either make it scroll when you tap and hold, or make a manual input because it drove me nuts having to tap each and every single one. Thanks

This app slow, unresponsive, frustrating but still more convinient than a physical logbook. But out of all of that the biggest problem is the odometer system. Whoever's idea it was to stop me from correcting my dyslexic mistake of adding another 2 digits to my odometer.... let them be fired. When you have an app as unresponsive as this, you need to expect that these kinds of fat finger mistaps are bound to happen. Go for the racq app. If my logbook gets denied, I'm blaming this.

I hate to be so harsh however this app is seriously flawed. I'll try to give some feedbank in hopes that someone listens and takes notes. As someone learning Javascript, the app seems quite 'cheap'. It is quite buggy (I have had several entries delete themselves, then I had no idea what my odometer was during the trip), the optimization isn't ideal, either. Upon first glance, it seems to be intuitive enough, but then you realize that it's lacking a lot of quality of life features. For example, I decided to import my logbook entries from my paper book (as it was a mess) to the app, thus I had to spend a while it as there's no bulk-transfer feature, nor a sorting feature. Today, I was about to submit my logbook however before I did so I gave it to my father in law to check and he found several mistakes from my bulk-transfer. Yes, that is my fault however when I have to enter everything one by one it's almost impossible to not do mistakes (especially since it's mobile only). When I submitted my logbook, it also said that my in-law was part of a driving school, which he isn't. You should be able to see the odometer and distance traveled in the Trips section to prevent mistakes.

I have to screenshot my entries every time I begin a drive because often times it randomly crashes after the duration of the drive, deleting my entry in the process. I have also had instances where entries that have been approved suddenly show up as 'not approved'. I once had about 40 hours worth of entries suddenly disappear including instructor hours but thankfully it came good after I pressed the sync button a few times. It was very concerning though and I almost had to call the support line.
