AMC has great tv shows. I love them!! But I'm not here to rate AMC. This app is garbage. Repetitive commercials, will make you rewatch them if you switch to another app, never knows where you left off, difficult to find where you were in a show if you dare don't finish it in one go, tons of commercials (more than hulu or cable), automatically plays another tv show in the same stream, and more. Maybe I'm spoiled to the other superior streaming apps, but with that being said, this app is not one.

Update 12/2/19:: Able to log in but like other reviews- slow app and unresponsive, if you like watching the loading text and /or ring them this would be a good app for you. Continually says check connection, yet no other apps having any issues with connection 🤔.Big continuing fail AMC. Update: the direct tv issue was fixed .. Useless app when you can't even catch up on your show because it continues having problems.

This app SUCKS! 1. Constant error message of lost connection. Doesn't matter if I'm streaming on wifi, 4G or a combo of both. 2. Because of the error messages, I have to constantly watch 1min-2mins of ads but what makes it worse is its the same ad over and over. 3. I would gladly pay for the premier upgrade option, but since I dont have a cable provider, I can't use that option. Who still even has cable? If I did have cable, I wouldn't need this app to watch walking dead.

If I could give this no stars I would. It's constantly stopping, restarting from the beginning, saying there's no connection when I have full bars, reloading, etc, whatever can go wrong does. I couldn't even get through one episode of TWD. Where are the administrators? I see lots of negative reviewers with the same problems so why aren't they fixing this?

Regrettably, AMC still umbilically tied to cable service. Still needs a cable service provider subscription to access content. Thankfully, casts from Android to Chromecast now. Annoying that it will let you stream 4 episodes of shows like Nos4atu thru app and then require you to 'upgrade' to 'premiere' to view the rest of episodes. No problems, its available elsewhere to watch. AMC still doesnt get how streaming and cable cutting works, needs to take lessons from HBO Go, Showtime, FX etc.

Seems spotty at best. I did work at one time, but won't start anymore. Says there is a configuration problem, but there is no troubleshooting applet. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times but no luck. The ads on the TWD AMC site play, but not the episodes. Guess they figure you'll buy AMC+ if you really want to see AMC programming.

Do NOT get this app and expect for things to work properly. Will not cast directly to my chromecast for some reason. Hulu, netflix, and amazon prime work today, which tells me its not a problem with my internet connection or my chromecast. Its 2019 & paying for an app experience makes me have a reasonable expectation that this app will work. The only option that you have to troubleshoot is to send an email. Guess I will just torrent Discovery of Witches. I already paid for it, so no remorse.

Horrible from almost every aspect. When it works it works. However, if you minimize or switch tasks while casting to Chromecast it casts AS WELL AS plays where you left off on your phone. Does a cable network app that you have access to because you pay for cable needs ads? Absolutely not. Predatory is what that is. Streams are extremely low quality at times also despite me being sitting next to the router it's connected to. I expect more from a large television corporation.
