*Updating to 4 stars: great customer service and problem seems to be fixed. Updating to 2 stars for this school year: Since this school year and what looks like an app change/update, the experience has definitely been subpar. I used to get notifications when the bus was about 10 minutes away, now I'm lucky if I get an alert when it's 3 minutes. The bus gets "lost" a lot- meaning it's on the map then gone or stopped in 1 place then all of a sudden it's at our stop. It's been very frustrating.

This app worked great last year. It was very reliable. This year, however, they decided to make it fancy and add all this extra stuff to it and it's useless now. My son missed the bus last week, (That was a first) because I was relying on the app, which still showed him about five stops away. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the bus pull up out front. So now I don't even bother with it. We went back to the old fashioned way of doing things which is just knowing what time you should go out

UPDATE: BusWhere reached out to explain this was a school district IT issue, which they then helped fix. I have changed my rating so as not to blame BusWhere. Original review (summary): Two weeks ago, bus was 20 min away and appeared in the wrong neighborhood. ETA kept saying 20 minutes. I gave up and drove my daughter. Turns out her actual bus had come on time. Ever since, two buses show in our app, which should be impossible. I have to pan out to see the right bus.

Pretty accurate so far. I'll update my review if necessary. Be safe! Update 08/30/24 had to take away two stars. The app just stopped working almost immediately after I posted my five star review. Please fix any bugs preventing me from seeing where the bus is. ****Update****9/4/24 The app worked for two days, now it just says searching for GPS. I had high hopes for this app because it gave me peace of mind. I hope whatever is going on can be fixed soon but for now, I've un-installed the app.

I like the old design better. Not sure what's going on with the update. But now it seems the eta and the real life bus on the map aren't aligned. The eta is saying departed, while the bus is showing enroute to the stop.

Use to be simple and useful. Not now. Had to make it fancy to most likely justify someone's job. Glitchy. Inaccurate. Sketchy. Make it simple again so it works and is worth using.

The app is not loading properly and it's very frustrating it look like the bus is just sitting a spot for 15 minutes
