It would be super helpful if the app had the recipes that are on the website, an ingredient list with checkboxes and the ability to send it to someone would also be super helpful. Masterbuilt has that as well! No timer notifications and no meat probe temp reached notification....its 2025...this thing was $1k and I gotta use a separate bluetooth meat probe...Also the up and down arrows dont work on the meat probe in the app. Also, the RTD, meat probe, and auger adjustments don't work on the app,

Grill used to stay connected to my wifi, now it does not stay connected. For a while I would just remove and re-add my grill to fix it but now not even that is working. Very frustrating user interface for wifi that does not allow you to change settings once it is set up forcing you to remove and re-add the grill any time you need to make a change.

Works fine for me. It always connects quickly and works as advertised. I can monitor temperature and update settings with no problem. I do notice some lag between what is displayed on my OG Grilla built-in display and the app, but never anything that would effect the cook. I have the original Google Mesh network at home. I can monitor progress from work 10 miles away on a very dissimilar network. I do advise people to avoid WiFi extenders. I'm a former I.T. pro and they have always frustrated.

App freezes on startup. Ever since the last update, and everytime I start the grill, the app freezes and I have to close and restart the app. Sometimes it freezes mid-grill or at other times, but never affects the actual grill. It's more frustrating than anything else. If this gets fixed then it would be 5 stars.

By far the worst app ever downloaded. Nothing but problems and not worth the extra cost on the alpha. Cant rely on it. Constantly freezes constantly has issues connecting. Its also not accurate. When it does work what it shows for temperatures isnt what shows on the screen on the grill. Disappointing. Love the smoker. Hate the app. Do better guys.

The app works for the most part but it definitely needs some improvements. It takes me to the login screen every time I open the app even if I just logged in. There is no indication that the temperature data is refreshing so it can look wrong for a while. Temperature alarms don't work. I expected to get a notification, but nothing happened.

Not sure where to send this info. But the app notifications have completely stopped working. I have 2 different android samsung devices and neither of them send notifications anymore. I've un-installed and re-installed, cleared cache and storage data... hell I even factory reset my phone. Nothing. I'm highly dissatisfied and the entire grill has lost its appeal. I spent the money on a wifi connected unit to make using the grill an experience I didn't have to babysit and that's no longer the case

I downloaded the app before my Grilla Silverbac was delivered. I was skeptical after reading the negative reviews, so I tested my WiFi signal with my laptop in the location where I was going to place the smoker which was about 200' away. The signal was weak and the laptop would lose connection periodically. I purchased a Wi-Fi extender and mounted it in a window which faced the location where the smoker was located. I opened the app. Set up went smoothly and connected. App works perfectly!
