So I have been attempting 2 download this app 4 several weeks now & have been unsuccessful with each attempt. I've tried it on my android, an apple & even a tablet none of which allow me 2 download the app. I get an error msg that says can't install app w/ no further explanation. I've tried the common ways 2 fix it, I've also sent feedback several times. I even have the teachers @ our school trying to reach out. It's frustrating knowing all the help this app can provide 4 our schools.

Doesn't let you continue after install because you have to allow it to look through your pictures or have access to. I understand it's to possibly upload pictures from my phone but it's very intrusive. I should be able to select "Allow just this time". I have top secret work pictures on my device. I have to go out of my way to put that folder under lock and key. I don't need to do anything like that for any app on my device. Only reason I'm allowing it is because of my kid. The calendar too?😠

It generally works, but: - Confusing menus - Often requires manual refresh of feed even after clicking on a notification - No way to disable sounds - Automatically creates calendar events (if your school uses them) unless you deny the app calendar permission EDIT: lowering to 1 star since you can't login without giving calendar permissions to the app.

I've been using this app for 2+ years now. I haven't had any issues with it. I have always been able to get notifications and interact with my child's teacher. It's a wonderful app to use. I appreciate the fact that I am able to see what my child is doing and what activities are coming up. Since the changes during the pandemic, I have been unable to go to the events to see my child, so the teachers have been sending photos and videos through the app for us and I appreciate this app for that.

Very unstable for Android's and not intuitive. I receive push notifications, but when I check the app, the notification is not there for hours. Sometimes it says I have no children. It's not user friendly, at least not on an Android device. I only have the app so I can get updates from the school.

Requires permissions to make and receive phone calls and access to my calendar without explanation. Not acceptable. If the app has features that write into my calendar, please make them optional. It should be common practice to explain your permission requests and to not make all features of the app dependent on acceptance of all permission requests.

This app abuses permissions. Camera and photos access should never be required to use an app like this. I granted the permission just to see how the app works, and it still would not start. The app can't properly identify the permissions granted. I won't be using this app.

It helps keep track of how and what my child is doing in school... but don't recommend doing the update at all it prevents the app to open up. All I did was uninstalled the app and installed it back and it worked perfectly fine.
