I get that they are trying to consolidate apps, but this app is pretty bad. The Sync Up Kids section is full of glitches. The tracking is somehow nowhere near as accurate as it was before. Shutting off the live tracking often doesn't work without restarting the app. Sometimes, it makes me re-add my child's watch, freezes up, and then requires a total uninstall/reinstall of the app. I miss the old app. It was way more functional.

This app is more that horrible and useless. I've set up my child's watch over a month ago and literally every single time I open the app, it wants me to set up the profile and pair the watch again. Every. Single. Time.... Now I have 5 profiles of the same person with only one being active. Also I can't access the apps basic features because I can not just open like it should, for an example, while my kid is playing outside in the neighborhood, and it goes into school mode, I can't turn it off.

They recently switched the kids watch tracking to this app and it is HORRIBLE. It doesn't update the location very well or reliably at all. The picture stays stuck in one spot on the map but then it'll show a line with the watch movements. If you click to center on the watch it'll go back to where it's stuck, not where the line shows it is. Oh and having to log in every time when its barely even working is the cherry on top. It's totally unreliable. Unsable. Really not happy at all.

This new app sucks! Not user-friendly at all. Won't show active devices most of the time, then when it does, it shows <...> Ethernet. What does this even mean? Navigation makes no sense and is very frustrating. The changes were not thought through before implementing. Honestly, how many times must a person uninstall and re-install for it to work properly? I have been on the phone with T-Mobile representatives on and off most of my day and absolutely have gotten nowhere. I am beyond frustrated!!!

The new app is more native than a web container, so improvement is vastly better. However, not everything works. Like the user permission settings don't open. Sometimes there are buttons that just don't function. But for basic account management, it's fine. The app does ask a couple times to harvest all personal data for "personalization", which is absurd. You already have my money, you don't need my data too.

Updated: I still cannot access the app after resetting password. I emailed for assistance as well. Terrible app! I can't connect to my kid's sync up device. The syncup app worked great. I cannot get past the phone number screen, as it tells me I am invalid. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times. I tried go download from the syncup app to no avail.

Had to download this app to sync up my kid's watch. I've tried logging in multiple times, but it keeps saying, "Error, something went wrong, try again." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it still doesn't work. I was finally able to log in. I had to go into the app info and then storage to clear all data and cache.

I recently added another syncup kids watch to my account, and this app has been full of glitches. I had to work with 611 support to limp the watch onto the app. Now, I can not add contacts to the profile. This is easily the worst app experience I've ever had. I'm paying for a service that T-Mobile isn't following through on. And yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app...so many times.
