App-functies omvatten:
1) Een vluchtcomputer.
Dit geeft de hoogte AMSL en AGL, grondsnelheid, peiling, klim-/dalsnelheid, glijhoek, G-kracht, windrichting, vluchtduur en afstand vanaf de start aan.
De barometrische druk kan worden verkregen via een interne sensor of via een Bluetooth-vario.
2) Een lijst met piloten.
Toont vliegtuigtype (of foto), relatieve richting, trackertype en statusberichten. Er wordt toestemming voor contactpersonen gevraagd als de geïntegreerde contactfuncties worden gebruikt.
3) Een Google-kaart.
Andere piloten tonen, bussen, luchtruim, tussenpunten, thermische hotspots, vliegroutes plus veiligheid ophalen en berichten ophalen.
4) Een navigatiehulpmiddel om waypoints en taken te beheren.
5) Een thermische assistent-widget op de kaart.
6) Regenradar en bewolkingswidget.
7) Competitieracetaken.
Taken zijn volledig compatibel met de PG-Race.aero-service. Bij het scannen van QR-codes wordt cameratoestemming gevraagd, zodat taken eenvoudig kunnen worden gedeeld met andere apps.
Er kunnen hoorbare waarschuwingen worden ingesteld voor 'SOS'- en 'Ophaal'-berichten, luchtruimnabijheid en FANET-berichten.
Vluchten worden geregistreerd als IGC- en KML-bestanden en kunnen opnieuw worden afgespeeld.
IGC-vluchtlogboeken gemaakt door XC Guide worden geaccepteerd door FAI/CIVL voor Cat1-evenementen en worden geverifieerd door hun online validatieservice. Ze worden ook geaccepteerd door XContest.
Gedetailleerde hulp, in verschillende talen, is opgenomen in de app.

FlyMaster now supports alternate tracker sources such as FLARM, InReach and SPOT. These technologies are now correctly reported in the Pilot List, tracker status and map bubble.

Love this app. Definitely my go to and recommend fight computer app. The maps are great and the thermal assistant helps center the thermals just that little bit more. The live tracking features are great I can stream my flight to skylines and xc contest. After reading the manual a couple times. The app was really easy to figure out. I just with there was more of a community around this app.

This is a fantastically complete app that does everything you can imagine and more. The ability of XC guide to connect with a large number of external devices and sensors is amazing. For example, you can connect it to an inexpensive home-built FANET+ antenna to see and be seen by other local pilots using FLARM or FANET, and see and be seen by additional pilots/aircrafts from a wide range of tracking networks through your internet. This is just one of the many amazing features.

A great app, especially when we use it professionally for guiding groups. We have a tablet for the driver in the van. As well as visually tracking the pilots around the skies we have them on view from our flight decks aswell.
