Onze Shelter-app (voorheen Strappd) heeft bronnen voor jongeren in de VS en bronnen voor iedereen in Colorado en in de volgende provincies / steden: Los Angeles County, King County (Seattle), Multnomah County (Portland), Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, San Francisco County, Santa Clara County (San Jose), Alameda County (Oakland), San Diego County en El Paso County.Shelter App is een AI-aangedreven chatbot die risicojongeren in contact brengt met diensten zoals Youth Drop-in Centres, Homeless & Run Away Youth Shelters, LGBT Advocacy and Support Groups, naschoolse programma's, crisis- of hotlines, voedselbanken, soepkeukens, Voedsel pantry's, tijdelijke huisvesting, opvangcentra voor huiselijk geweld, dierenopvangcentra, hulp bij huur / nutsvoorzieningen, betaalbare huisvestingsopties, gratis of goedkope medische en tandheelkundige klinieken, geestelijke gezondheidscentra, hiv / soa-testcentra, spuitenruilprogramma's, kledinghulpmiddelen, gratis Juridische klinieken, hygiënediensten, douches, toiletten, hulpbronnen voor daklozen en gezinnen met een laag inkomen, onderwijs en werkgelegenheidsondersteuning, jobtrainingsprogramma's, training in levensvaardigheden, mentorschap en nog veel meer bronnen voor daklozen en mensen in nood.
App-gebruikers kunnen overschakelen van lijstweergave naar kaartweergave en kunnen services filteren die net vanuit het zijmenu zijn geopend. Gebruikers kunnen op elke service klikken om details te krijgen, zoals contactgegevens, routebeschrijvingen en planning voor die service. Met de vlagknop op het startscherm kunt u verbinding maken met de app-beheerder of serviceprovider voor die bron. Gebruikers kunnen op de Kudos-knop klikken om waardering te tonen voor de diensten die ze leuk vinden. Als u een service wilt markeren voor toekomstig gebruik, klikt u op het sterpictogram op de servicedetailpagina om deze toe te voegen aan Mijn favorieten.
Als u een gemeenschapsdienst doet en geïnteresseerd bent in het vermelden van uw service, kunt u een service toevoegen / beheren door u aan te melden in de app. U kunt ook het aantal beschikbare bedden bijwerken voor schuilplaatsen die u beheert. Het duurt even voordat alle gegevens die door de serviceproviders zijn ingevoerd, worden goedgekeurd voordat ze in de app worden gepubliceerd. Als u vragen heeft of informatie ziet die niet up-to-date is, kunt u wijzigingen melden via Feedback geven in het zijmenu.

Utilized correctly in every city by adding all of each city's programs could make this the best and most useful app for anyone that needs any type of assistance in any city. To the developers please contact me if you would like my opinion on how to make his one of the most used apps worlwide. I was houseless and wish something like this was out there when I needed it I would love to share my ideas to help better this and make you number 1!!

This takes a bit to organize then it works very well for finding services in your area with decently updated information. I was impressed with the application. I have been homeless in my area for almost 20yrs. The information is top drawer and the app is easy to use to find shelter for the night.

Needs more options it only gives you schedules most know of. And alot are missing. Didn't help me at all. Not updated or anything for Corona quarantine and several things OLYMPIA, WA does offer are not listed. It just lists the places every city in America offers pour or homeless people. Like the Mission, Salation Army, well duh who doesn't have one of these.

"net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED" when going to any website through the app. Pretty good otherwise. People have a misunderstanding of this app that are saying it's trash and worthless. "NOTHING IN MY AREA IT'S TRASH" No offense, but based off that, I can see why you're homeless. It seems like a small team put this together. Not a giant corporation. I could be wrong. So give it some time for improvements. If a corporation put this out, then I'd say yeah, no good. Keep up the good work!

Definitely a very helpful app for those in need. I myself am a mother who is in need of resourcing however I found out that my county actually doesn't have very many resources for what I'm looking for. I highly recommend this app for anybody who needs resourcing whether it's closed or food or housing this app can be very helpful!!!

I tried this app for a couple months,and cannot count how many times I walked or took a bus to one of their listed churches or resource centers that offered showers or clothing or food giveaways,only to find they changed the hours or days ,and couldn't help me! Finally,I gave up on the Strappd app because I couldn't count on the information in it. Massive waste of time..

This is an excellent app. It's like God send for many people who are struggling with resources. The developers seem to have taken care of many little aspects. Yes, it's not available in all areas but it looks like they are building new features constantly. Thanks for all you guys are doing.
