Yandex.Key is een authenticator die eenmalige wachtwoorden (OTP) genereert voor Yandex, Google, GitHub, Dropbox, Vk.com en andere services met tweefactorauthenticatie (2FA). IMHO, it needs to be a bit smarter. And, probably, it's not this app's fault. When I'm sitting on my computer and using my phone, the apps that depend on this (mail, drive, etc) ask for the token way too often. They should learn my metadata (ip, browser, OS, etc) and decide if I am me more often. I don't have a bad opinion on it but it's just a bit annoying.

2019-04-01 review: Perfect. Always use this app. 2022-06-09 updated review: Still perfect. I always use this and it's always worked for every service from all my game sites and game platforms like steam, all my emails, phone apps, etc. Backup worked perfectly when I changed phones. Never failed me, always simple. The only thing I'd like to see is an option to change the layout of all your accounts. I prefer to scroll down and have the accounts name as the title instead of a bubble with a letter

Creating and restoring backup copy of keys doesn't work properly on Android 5 device - when input any phone number the "next" button doesn't work and always disabled/grayed, even when I entering phone number properly in international format with + sign & correct country code. I think this happening because of incorrect number parsing in number input field. Also can you please add reliable backup functionality - backup copy of keys to the file and to the cloud disk storage (Yandex.Disk, WebDAV)?

Nice new UI. But lacking feature from previous version. You need to make it not only cooler but do not miss previous feature in transition ). Like change account order, save pin by default, add fingerprint support to yandex accounts. Also I still have a question if our backups still be deleted after 1 year can you remind about it somehow before we loose it, guys.

The v3 update is pretty to look at, but very frustrating due to it wanting me to give my old device a code to transfer my account over with. Except my old device is the same device v3 has been updated on. There seems no way to stop it referencing the account, so fear I'm going to lose my account in future because I can't transfer it over

That was great application before but after it was updated the application doesn't work anymore. The passwords which this application generates doesn't allow you to sign in your account but I'm sure that I entered the correct pin-code because the service of restoring the password got the same pin-code and allowed me to create a new password. I think that I should reject using this application until the developer will solve the problem.

Very stupid 2fa tool which depends on a four digits, so called pin code, to generate a temporary password. If you forget this four digits, you can't access your account, even you hold the original password, cellphone and extra info. I don't find any other 2fa working like this. And guess what, the process they designed to recover your account will ask you to enter the four digits again. Hah,genius! Finally, I lost my account. It's not a big deal. I may create a new one, and keep away from this
