Tested on home wi-fi. Didn't load anything in 2 minutes for London or for a nearby area, or for a certain tube station in central London. Absolutely useless and why create an app? Place them on google maps to be easily accessible.

Too large an app, doesn't work without location access (you tap 'use without location' and it just returns to the same page).

this is a great initiative but the app is poor. Slow to respond, the search by name functionality isn't clear at all (I search for a street but get a list of local Costas! ), the icons on the search bar don't work, i have to read the blurb about how to use it every time I open it and sign in every time (why?), i have to select "find station/add a station" every time, and it's very hard to see individual stations that are close together. Also, why not have the map on the refill website too?

Ludicrous that you have to download a 54 MB app just to access a map. Would be far better as a website, which would be universally and instantly accessible to all. Making this an app really feels like a case of fashion over functionality. Also very hard to use in urban areas as it clusters things together - when lots of locations are close to each other, it's almost impossible to see the details for any single site.

Nrw update has fixed the problem with the constant crashing, but the entries for St Pancras station are totally inaccurate. I was there earlier today, and couldn't find any of the listed refill points. There's no public refill point, and I couldn't find any of the other listed points, despite spending over 30 minutes wandering around looking for them. In the end, I had to buy a bottle of water, which kind of defeats the object of this app. The entries for St Pancras definitely need correcting.

It was better before the update It's still useful if you're somewhere and you want to know where the nearest fountain is. But the map used to let you zoom out and see where all the fountains were at any radius. We used it to plan hundreds of miles of walks and cycles all over Scotland and Europe. With the update that feature is completely lost as you can only search within small radiuses. It's a real shame as it was so useful to me.

Why not just have the map on a website? Great idea, poorly executed. I didn't have to sign up for an account. I like that it has photos of the locations, but they are too small and cant be zoomed in. There were two locations within a 5 minute walk of me but strangely the app tells me they are Not In Range what an odd feature. Having to decide between looking for a refill and adding one every time you open the app seems annoying even the second time.

The app is awful. It is beyond slow. Pins on maps bear no relation at all to drinks stations. Search for a location on the map and it shows pins for several different water stations, however if you select the pins to see details of exactly where they are it shows details of a water station miles away, or shows no details at all or private homes (who were not impressed!). This is not a one off I looked at least a dozen and gave up. I was willing this app to be good and was so disappointed.
