I have been building student portfolios on Artsonia for almost 20 years. Parents love the updates as they see new work created and many fans are grandparents and family in other countries! Artsonia was easy to adopt in my program, with safe and secure procedures for onboarding new students and parents, and they are continuously innovating to make their platform better with expanded features, like the ability to add video a few years ago. I feel that Artsonia really has education in front of mind

I do really like this app. Makes it very easy to keep student artwork organized. However, whenever I take photographs of work portrait style, the app automatically rotates it landscape. Same thing happens when I take them landscape; it rotates them portrait. Very annoying when I'm trying to upload 25 artworks in a short amount of time.

3/4 the time I can't log in. It either remembers my info or it don't. I have had it reset before and still can't get in. Seems like a waste of an app to have on my phone

I like the website version way more, the mobile one requires a class code. (which my school doesn't provide and instead relies on using our school gmail) So that makes the whole app way more complicated and hard to use.

A Google user

This app does not work on both an ipad OR on an andriod. On the ipad, all the pictures are blurry, even when on a flat surface NOT being held by human hands. That only means one thing: the app does not use the camera correctly on the ipad. So I switched to my andriod. That doesn't work! Every 3-5 pictures, it white screens TWICE to kick me out and I have to retake pictures. You need to fix these BIG bugs or many teachers will stop using this app. I am about to, because this is NOT user friendly

Love the update on the app. I can now edit and approve submitted art right on my phone. Everything seems to be working smoothly too. Fast and responsive interface makes for quick uploading in the classroom. Great work on this Artsonia 👏

A Google user

The app is pretty limited, you can view artwork and upload new artwork, but you can't comment on anything, add family members or approve their comments, or share any of the images to social media. I can't even figure out how to download the images, besides taking a screenshot of my phone.
