Flycast is an awesome emulator available for many platforms. Its Dreamcast emulation is virtually flawless and thanks to rendering in a higher resolution than the actual Dreamcast, games look even better than originally. Flycast also runs games for the Naomi, Naomi 2 and Atomiswave making a vast library of outstanding arcade highlights accessible to everyone. I highly recommend Flycast on PC which also runs great on Linux. Unfortunately, AndroidTV has become to restrictive for emulators.

Good quality emulator to play Dreamcast classics! I recommend using a controller rather than the game pads on the screen.

Flycast is an absolutely fantastic Dreamcast emulator. It has become my favourite way to play Sonic Adventure 1&2 without having to play the bad pc versions with mods. I just have 2 complaints. 1. For some reason Sonic Adventure runs at 30FPS while Sonic Adventure 2 runs at 60. I don't know why this is and if this is a glitch or a bug, I would like it fixed to play both games at 60. 2. For some reason, the horizontal stretching percentage is automatically set to 134 and I can't change it. Thanks

The best dreamcast emulator on the play store. Absolute brilliant.

Absolutely fantastic emulator, works damn near flawlessly when configured right. However, when connecting phone to tv via usb/c - hdmi, it causes the emulator to run at half speed when vsync is enabled. UPDATE - it's a hardware issue, cable doesn't support frame rates higher than 30fps. My own fault for buying a cheap cable

This is the only true option for Dreamcast emulation on Android other than RetroArch and Redream; however, each of those two alternatives has drawbacks that make them less preferable than Flycast. for RetroArch. The large installation size as well as the bloated settings and choices do little to benefit Dreamcast. For Redream, it's the fact that it charges for simple functionality like preserving slots, upscaling, and no support; it's effectively dead on Android at this moment.

I had to fiddle with some settings, but got it running well. Many emulators have very bad touch controls, but this one is good. Objects can be scaled individually. LT/RT are held until you let go of the screen, you can press RT and slide your thumb to another button and RT will stay held. Makes it easy to use items/boost/handbrake in racing games.
