I would give this app 10 Stars if I could! Absolute lifesaver!! I was in a situation where both Uber/Lyft were unable to pick me up after several tries, I was unable to see if just nobody around at that time or what. I was stranded, using a cane to get around trying to walk home with groceries, which was a strenuous ordeal. On top of that, I had tried to load $ onto my CashApp in order to book a ride, but wasn't able to! Thnkfully the app called me a taxi that I paid $ was able to get home safe!

The GPS is absolutely terrible. The app regularly cannot find common places by name and gives addresses that don't align with the dot on the screen. You cannot actually communicate with the driver via message due to the character limit. The app asks for driver feedback but they are quick to tell you there's no recourse within the platform, you can report it to the city. The App reply here does not align with their practice - they said there's nothing they can do when I had a problem.

New update sucks. why'd you try to fix something that wasn't broken. pairs poorly. or not at all. once paired, sometimes can't change the tip, and if you can change it, you can't change it more than once. you gotta cancel the ride and re-pair...if you even can. the app didn't need to look prettier. leave good enough alone.

Works fine on Android. On iPhone, the app fails to open the keyboard when trying to add a credit card, forcing the user to rely on PayPal only. Can't add name and address either. I LATER: PROBLEM SOLVED! After restarting the phone and checking keyboard settings, the Curb app works fine. We used it to book a ride and it performed flawlessly.

AVOID THE APP IN NYC! Curb lies about its "upfront" pricing. I was quoted a $7 fare to go 12 blocks while I had a minor foot injury. I thought it would be $7 plus $2 tip. The bill I got was for $14.25. That's an extra $5.25 in fees that are not disclosed, including a $1.95 just to use the app. If you're going to market yourself with UPFRONT PRICING, include the fees in the quote! I live in Midtown, and there is no shortage of cabs. Following up on their response, I updated the app and tried to use Book Now with a promo. Over 5 attempts made to call a cab and every time, the driver changed. I cancelled because it was faster to flag a cab and paired with the cab. But the app is still spinning and assigning drivers. I ask the cab to pull over to straighten it out. The driver doesn't understand and closes our tab. We went 4 blocks! So I get out, start walking back to catch the one at the pickup spot because it looks like the Curb app is still trying to book a cab, even though I pressed cancel twice. Of course, as soon as I get back to my building, the app finally cancelled. So we flagged yet another cab. I only linked all my charges to Curb as to show there were 3 Curb events happening at once. It makes no sense! Always a nightmare experience.

Very easy app to use! We set up an account in minutes, no problems. Then we used the request ride now feature in Chicago. Stated eta for cab was 8 minutes and it took 15 to arrive, so that's the only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star review. Otherwise, everything was efficient and easy. Cab driver was friendly and got us to our destination quickly and safely. We'll definitely be using this app again since it is as easy as hiring an Uber but supports regulated taxis instead. Win win!

First time use said "n/a" for estimated fare. This happened as I tested to several locations and then later when I was showing someone else why the app wasn't a good idea. Also, can't choose for a bigger size Vehicle. The response from the developer might just as well been from the blackberry CEO, always late to the party with a hand full of excuses.

This app is terrible. I can't create an account because of weird "not connected to internet" and "email invalid" error messages. I was hoping for a good way to call a taxi in Brooklyn and I couldn't even get it set up. You are advertising this app in every taxi in NYC and it's unusable. They responded to this review saying "it looks like you already have an account ..." YES I know. I was unable to create account, sign in, or change my password. The app doesn't work. Im a millennial.
