so the app works ok enough. i use it to stream dodger games to my chromecast. the main issue is there are certain commercials that just stop the stream. arco commercials stop the stream 100% of the time. very frustrating. there are a couple others that it happens, but ALWAYS arco commercials. wish they would look into fixing that.

Picture quality on Spectrum Sportsnet is extremely glitchy. It's almost unwatchable. Spectrum Sportsnet should be ashamed of itself for its complete failure. A paid subscription should not be this terrible.

The app has promise but its consistently failing to load streams even with access to a good high-speed mobile network or reliable wifi network. I often watch the app struggle to load a video stream for minutes at a time, when it finally does the video is 240p quality and I can't make out any details. At commercial breaks commercials are quickly cut off for a special "Commercial Break" banner, at which point the application goes back to "forever spinning on the same video"-mode and I miss key plays. In some cases, I can say the application is consistent in that I mis any major play made after commercial break because the app is still failing to load post-commercial content. I usually don't give applications such low ratings, but Spectrum is too large a company to provide such a poor video and sports experience. I should also note that the "Contact Us" link the team has placed in on this page takes you to a 404, not the best look.

I love it. Plenty of Lakers news, interviews, clips, episodes to keep me satisfied. The only thing I wish was different is the fact that you need to have a television service provider to watch full games. Other than that it's crisp, clean and a lot better with a lot more clips than YouTube has to offer and it's straight from the source and not subject to someone else's recording and needs like volume, pausing etc.

Broken app. Casting sucks. Can't watch Lakers games without the casting losing its connection to a black screen randomly. Go Lakers!!!! FIX THE CASTING. CAN'T watch a game.

App is much improved now (as of Nov 2024). You can now cast to Google Cast devices which makes it so much easier to watch the Lakers on the big screens. 🏀👍🏾

I am impressed the developer responded to my comment and fixed the problem with the screen timeout. Thank you! I noticed they've also fixed the problem when I connected a cable to my phone and TV, so I can watch in a hotel room on the road, when travel starts again. The only major thing that appears left to make work to get a 5 start rating is casting from my phone to a Chromecast or other casting enabled receiver. The cable makes this less necessary, but sure is convenient.

This app is terrible. I've never written a negative review about any app but I had to say something. It just flat out doesnt work for what most people will use it for and thats to watch Laker games. Worst app ever created. **Updated 12/28/18** App works on my S8 but there's no option to cast to a TV. Would be helpful for when I travel.
