some bugs. when I do the crossword late evening and don't finishbit, then the same crossword is there the next day. only problem with that is that I don't get any of the next days puzzles. on that second day I go to all of those different puzzles and it's only the puzzles from the day before. and it's only the puzzles from the day before. I need like a button or something to push to say okay refresh me. give me today's puzzles.

The games are ok if a little buggy, but the real issue is that paying for the subscription doesn't remove ads on all the games. The ads are near constant. Every time you click into the game you have to watch an ad, and there are random banner ads several times a minute that cover half the screen. When you click to minimize them the music cuts out and the controls lock up for a few seconds. This makes playing anything timed very annoying because the timer doesn't stop for the ads.

New software update is awful! Keyboard takes up too much space and you can't see the whole puzzle. The archive has you scroll down which takes forever instead of choosing a date on a calendar. But most important for me is that I'm unable to print blank puzzles to take to work since I can't have my phone at work. What a waste of a $40/year subscription!

For an app I'm paying for, the devs need to fix the issues going on. Great Fun but buggy as hell. 1) It now won't say I've completed the puzzle even tho I have. 2) The archive won't filter uncompleted, so I have to scroll 15 times to get to the ones I haven't done. 3) random letters appear in boxes I didn't fill in. 4) Frequently when I click on a box it won't let me change direction. Won't get any more stars from me til they fix the issues. And I won't recommend it until then either.

My oh my. It's truly baffling how broken this app can be at times. Sometimes it decides that the letter you typed into one of the boxes will actually be repeated in others, and fills in like four boxes with that letter for no reason. Other times it'll just randomly decide that certain letters/boxes are impossible to delete, and that you've just gotta remember that that random 'r' isn't supposed to be there. I mean, it's a crossword app. How hard could that be to program and bug test?

Wish I could run it offline! I'm not amazing at crosswords so find the NYT puzzle a little too hard, especially past Wednesday. I like the USA Today puzzle though. I spend a lot of time on airplanes and that is when I really like to puzzle but this app does not seem to work offline even as a paid subscriber. I wish I could download from the archive and then do a bunch of puzzles to pass the time in flight!

*updated* Probably because I'm not attempting to use a subscriber perk login, but the app now accepts my Google credentials. I've subscribed and solved multiple puzzles this evening. Tapping on the highlighted square to change direction isn't intuitive, but it works. I do wish you offered dark mode, as the white screen is blinding at bight, even at low brightness settings.

I enjoyed the puzzles for a few days, until I realized they were reusing words nearly every other day, if not every day. The app has enough issues with the keyboard not working properly and "floating letters" getting stuck in places you didn't type them, forcing you to backspace in areas you haven't even started. But reusing words AND clues on puzzles is just lazy. I've counted 12 words reused into 8 puzzles in a week and a half. Really? Not even worth the free sub. Find another app.
