Video quality is good, that's why two stars, but the ability to consistently record events can make you want to punch a baby. Started with cloud subscription, then added large SD card and there are still huge gaps in 24/7 recording, events generate a screenshot but vids don't even show what was in the screenshot. Camera is all over the place and does not always return to it's "site". I've missed several important captures because recording is so inconsistent device but shows 98% wifi. Stupid.

Latest Update broke playback on all cameras! They now all freeze while using the local playback option. Can't save video now..The new update slowed down the app as well. Takes longer to load cameras. Checked my home network and all is well. I have four cameras (2.4g/5g). Using 5g w/%65-70 signal. Up until recently, all was well. And it's a shame that in my 7 months of ownership, I can't recommend at this time. The Tuya Smart App also isn't compatible with the S25 Ultra. So no other option..?

edit for new problem. No 2 way talk on app update. I reset the below camera and the reset button fell into the camera. format card doesn't work. Since the update video motion detection no longer works. Uninstalled app, checked network, everything is set correctly. Restarted it several X, and calibration has never worked. I contacted tech through the app. No reply 🙄 BTW two way talk hasn't worked in over 6 months. Get what you pay for. Does anyone know if another app will work with this camera?

Disappointed. I have two P6 cameras. The motion recognition is very very primitive, branches movement can be recognized as "human", dogs are also seen as "human". The second issue, prolonged activity in front of the camera will make the camera focus in one direction, and cannot periodically or rotate actively to capture surroundings. The P6 also cannot detect lateral movement, which comes down to the cheapness of motion sensor. Need regular power off to restart, playback is not smooth.

This camera device has been great. It was so EASY to set up. Clear pictures and covers a good radius of the area. App functionality is easy to work with. It saves to the cloud, too. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have had these cameras for about 3 years. I have had a few issues with them losing network connection but overall for a $50 camera system they have been great. I dont like how the playback feature starts at midnight and you have to scroll to each recorded event and if you don't stop in the right spot it goes back to midnight. Motion detection is iffy, it will usually catch cars as they drive past the house however when someone hit my mailbox, It didn't detect motion. My ring didnt either.

The best definition of you get what you pay for. I have had great interactions with the CS for problems experienced with my imager. Very quickly answered and resolved issues, only problem is the conversion of useful or required media that is requested to device issues. I have recommended these to family, and I'm sure those members have mentioned it to their hunting friends and others that are looking for a simple set up and reliable device to help with piece of mind.

If you want security cameras that are easier and less expensive than ring these are it. Is there a learning curve, yes. Do they seamlessly work with Alexa? No, there is a learning curve there as well. However, if you want something simple that you can monitor from your phone, Symelec is the way to go. Might eventually replace the current ones I've got with higher def ones although these are crystal clear.
