This app doesn't show the live departure boards of any stations unlike google where we could just search for the station to view the departure board. So this app is pointless for tracking a train or viewing the schedule of trains. Although it has timetable option where only the train frequencies are given for specific range of time.

Please add NFC mobile access to the Namma Metro app. This feature would allow commuters to use their smartphones for gate entry, eliminating the need for physical cards. It enhances convenience, especially for those who forget their cards, and aligns with modern, tech-savvy commuter expectations. NFC access on mobile would greatly improve the daily commute experience. Thank you for considering this essential upgrade!

This app is useless if you're in a hurry, don't have balance and want to recharge. You're better off buying a new card then. It takes one hour to add the amount to the card on a good day and much longer than that otherwise, very bad implementation. They can add more useful things like the exact train timings for each station so that people can be informed and don't miss the train but they don't even do that(wasted opportunity). Overall it's an incredibly useless app eating space on your phone.

Please provide a way to check the metro card balance which I believe is a very basic function you expect from an app like this. Only thing you can do now is add a top up card for recharging, only then the amount shows and it stays that way till we delete the card and add again. This app is very handy apart from that. Thank you. Edit: They have improved it. For people having issue selecting the destination where it doesn't display any station . uninstall and install again .

Everytime whenever I want to recharge my metro card the payment gets completed but it shows the status failed or redirected to error page. Even though when you check the balance in metro station it added the recharge balence. Also whenever you want to purchase qr tickets, multiple times it will show failed. It won't show the payment options. Then you have to completely close the app, then again when you try it will complete the process.

BMRCL officially wins the Oscar for the worst transport authority with the lowest levels of technology adoption & implementation! They can't even get the app right! There is absolutely no utility that this app serves, it is like you are on fancy looking web page from the 90's. They finally brought the option to recharge the metro card but conveniently forgot to add an option for the user to remove or de-link the same! Kudos...

Whole world is updating and upgrading, and here is one app for only to recharge and get some general information on metro..which can be obtained seemlessly through lots of apps, since you don't have basic option to do balance transfer or any alternatives for lost smart card.atleast give some provision to use virtual metro card to commute, which can avoid physical card.

It's pathetic that most of the times after ticket purchase, and you go to the gate, it denies entry, to again which you have to have data and again refresh the ticket.....which in turn leads you to miss the metro most of the times,Instead the QR on the WhatsApp is more practical, that once downloaded you don't need to refresh again.
