I have had to use this app for work for years now and it has been garbage for new installation setup the entire time. Connecting the wifi is an absolute bother. I'd rather have to sell every customer a 4g module than have to fight the integrated wifi setup. Since updating to one of the newest samsung devices on the market, the user side for the app has somehow gotten worse to try to get app to work.

App used to work fine. Now I can't connect to my generator to get basic information - gets to the selection wifi connect (Step 4) and just continuously shows a loading circle. I am in wifi range as it has connected before and I checked signal strength, everything is good. Test your updates before rolling them out.

Terrible mobile app is extremely difficult to connect, it won't stay connected for more then a couple days. My access point is less then 10ft away and I have a very strong wifi signal at 92% and still won't stay connected. I have wasted too much time, money and energy trying to keep this app connected. Updates have not solved the problem. Don't waste your time with this useless app that really does nothing useful without a paid subscription.

Less than useful app for a vital monitoring app. Shows only a 2% wifi signal strength standing next to the generator. Doesn't show it running for weekly test. I can't enter my address because the app doesn’t recognize my zip code as a valid entry. Using the free app as I see no reason to pay for something that doesn't work.

When it is functional, it is nominally ok but it is not very functional. When it crashes, only uninstall/reinstall and login again will restore it to function. Initial install is abysmal as you have to manually type in IP addess, MAC address, etc. All that could be done with a QR code to scan. Also, nowhere is it documented that the modem will ONLY function on 2.4G channel of old routers. New routers all function on the 5G channel. Crazy that this is the case.

Absolute and total garbage. I've had the generator for over 7 years, and for the first 6 it was using a third-party monitoring system which was working perfectly. Then Generac created their own app and forced everyone to switch to it. It is very hard to connect to and it keeps getting disconnected about once a month. Plus theis customer "service" is totally useless, all they tell you is it's your own problem. If I could give them a negative rating, they would get -10.

Limited functionality. The reason for a Generac generator is to provide electricity during a power outage. So, one would expect the app to track dates and times when it was actually performing this function, yet it does not. Oh, I have tried to contact customer support, can't talk to anyone, communication is by email only. They are unable to comprehend my concerns.

Horrible!!!! Wish i could give it negative stars.....I can never stay connected I'll connect for a day or 2 then loose connection for month and half smh really sad I've done everything talked to generac they had me buy new wifi extensions and still don't connect this is worthless
