Ok so I am on a one month sub half off. First things first here I use a VPN to watch J-Drama all the time and the selection on JME is pretty close to what I find with it. Problem number one is I wish there were more English subs on their J-Dramas because with my VPN I can watch the same show with translated closed captions. Problem number two is the price I wish there was a lower price just for on demand stuff. Overall I give it 3 and a half stars. If price was lower then a instant get for me

I was quite disappointed when jme first released in the new year. It was not all yet ready and only mimic the original dlibrary app without all the translations, subs but had some false release dates. The latest release changes it all now added the three premium channels and the newly added channels really impress me with lots of good programs. Movies and dramas are better and more. This release still has limited English translation improvement would like to add more English subs.

The app is refusing to play on my android phone. Took it to the T Mobile store and the app wouldn't play even on their wifi. The tech repair shop says it is the app and not the cellular network that is not working. The app won't even open my mother's iPhone. BTW you must enable playback over cellular data within the app's settings which is how I got it to work on my father's Samsung but it didn't work for my Android. Very disappointed will be asking for a refund.

Screen doesn't rotate on android phone. Doesn't work at all when trying to play video on android tablet. Get a error to enable mobile in settings, setting doesnt exist. Fix please. Update- Still not fixed. No reply from company.

I got this app to watch Sumo, and you can only watch it at certain times when it is streaming. For $25 a month, I should be able to play it back whenever I want to. My work schedule doesn't allow me to watch the availible streaming times.

JME app is a terrible replacement for TVJapan. There is literally only ONE Japanese program my mother looks forward to watching weekly. Nodojiman. The schedule rarely reflects the actual viewing time, which one would expect to be the same day and time weekly. I do not recommend this app. Boooo.

This streaming app seems to be about 5 years behind the times. Needs have a record capability or a lot more of the regular shows (e.g. Asadora, Nippon no Uta, Nodo Jiman) in the on demand library.
