Absolutely outstanding and amazing the only thing I would say is sometimes as I play it will recognize a piece of mine as either A) the AI opponent or B) just didn't occupy that square for many turns so as I play I'm like what my knight takes that pawn but apparently either piece on occasion wasn't there or was never there so I have to either go back many many turns and replay or unfortunately if it's to far in just stop. With all that being said it is an unremarkable instrument in tech and ches

Very buggy and unstable... very frustrating when you're in the middle of a game and the software malfunctions and the board doesn't recognize a move...gets stuck on that move and you lose the game on time. Don't waste your money on gochess garbage... you're better off just using a regular chess board while playing online. And they won't refund your money either...I tried doing that and they won't even respond to your emails.

The GoChess team have listened to my suggestion and have now implemented a decent chess engine (Stockfish) that will actually give an experience chess player a decent game when his robotic board finally arrived. I am still mystified why the team initially chose such a bad chess engine that couldn't play a decent game. Fingers crossed that the actual robotic board works ok.

Played on the new smart board and I'm impressed and obsessed. Wish there was an option for game review, but happy to be able to get more experience on the board without having to have someone around to play against.
