Great experience and app when it's working but I keep getting logged out, the syncing works only intermittently and then the app regularly fails to respond while using it. The trap seems good but I'm not able to check the kill in time to confirm what's hapenned as I only manage to see that there's a kill months after it has occurred... When I called to ask about syncing issues, I was told that Android doesn't work well with the interface...

The app is broken and not useable. It craches after less than 5 seconds. Smart features on the traps are hence not available. --- Update and answer from Goodnature: Hi Christoffer, Thanks for that! Looking on this end I'm unsure what could be causing the issue so I have passed your details onto the developers to investigate further. I will let you know when they have implemented a fix. --- Apparently they have no idea why the app is broken. A solid zero star app and product as it does not work.

The new Mouse trap did its thing first night, but I feel Bluetooth connectivity is pointless. WiFi would be far more useful for the distance monitoring. If I have to be within 10m for Bluetooth to connect, I might as well just walk the extra 10m and look straight at the trap instead. Also, Bluetooth initially would not connect. Took about a dozen tries to get it to work. So, 5 stars for trap less 3 for pointless Bluetooth.

It just failed to work. Tried two different phones and two different units, and none of them managed to be seen by the app. Also, the shake three times process was pretty unreliable at getting either unit to flash - so nothing really seemed to work as documented. At that point we gave up and returned the unit. Hope you can sort out the issues.

Great traps crapp app. App was functional until update to v. 3. The app has gone from continually crashing/freezing when trying to sync with traps to not syncing at all. Syncing requires location as well as Bluetooth. I've had correspondence with Goodnature, they are aware of the issue but no resolution has been forthcoming. The traps are highly effective for mice on our property but don't opt for the smart caps, stick with manual checking because you'll end up back there anyway.

Got the new mouse trap today... won't connect to Bluetooth... Trap is charged, blue light flashes, I'm less than a foot from the device, Bluetooth on my phone is on and scanning... I've tried five times... Refuses to connect... useless. And it sounds like it doesn't work for anybody based on all the other reviews... that's disappointing... I wish I had read these reviews before I bought the trap. Lesson learned.

Ugh, STOP LOGGING ME OUT. App was OK when I have access. But it repeatedly logs me out for no reason. Result: alerts show notifications, but notifications lost because login screen intercepts! I have to go unlock password safe way back home to pull out the creds to get back in. Edit to add: On Android 15, app freezes shortly after launch. As well, it places some of its controls partially behind the "back", "home", & "switch" OS navigation buttons. Not well designed nor written.

Great trap. Broken app. This app looks like it should work great but it's crashing on my pixel 6a every time and has been able to sync once after several attempts including clearing storage to reset the state.
