Sky Protect poses significant issues with the equipment's performance. The camera often lags, and the doorbell frequently fails to connect to the chime, undermining its reliability. While I intend to continue using the service for the duration of my contract, these recurring problems make it an unsatisfactory solution. Upon completion, I plan to return to Ring, which has proven to offer higher quality and more dependable functionality. Improvement is essential.

Android app notifications have major bug. Enable lockscreen notifications on Samsung s23 ultra and the whole phone becomes unresponsive when you get an alert. It's OK with just pop up notifications so I suspect it's just the lockscreen code. Needs looking at ASAP. Others have reported the same issues. Otherwise it's OK for free kit. Setup is a bit inconsistent across the devices but works OK. Camera quality not brilliant but OK. Sensors for movement and door open are good.

The app constantly logs me out, so I don't get any notifications. When logged in, It's prompt telling me motion was detected by the video doorbell, but the chime is useless when someone actually presses it. It never rings out nor notifies me in app. Not helpful with instructions in setting up the other tech. Indoor camera works but can't connect motion sensor. The app logging out isn't just an Android issue as half our house use iPhone and that version is just as unstable.

The app is good for the most part although until the most recent update I couldn't see the livefeed on the video doorbell. Now I am just having issues with the playback for the video doorbell where the feed won't play. Everything else apart from that works OK but it would be nice to be able to see the feed from the playback of the video doorbell.

The battery on the video doorbell will only last 2 weeks on a full charge even though there isn't much action for it to notify you about, Motion sensor, leak detectors and the indoor camera constantly going offline and having to reconnect and it has slowed my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra down considerably. disappointed with sky, really thought they would be of better quality.

Sooooo unreliable! Records a video AFTER something happens. Then tells you at some point in the day. Now an update picks up movement across the street. As you can reduce the area in landscape, meaning the area of detection covers the entire road! I get told AFTER every car uses the road. Battery now lasts 1 day! Fed up of testing this pile of rubbish for Sky

Free product with insurance, so can't complain. Bridge for other sensors works from internal camera which needs to be plugged in, and so finding a spot with the cable provided is tricky. App works well, easy to use , there is a bug for the notifications as the timing setting doesn't turn them off.

Appallingly bad. Notifications don't "wake" your phone up to notify you of doorbell being pressed. I left my house and ten minutes later notification appeared on my phone to tell me I had left and was spotted by the doorbell. What use is that? Chime has to be plugged into router which is at the front door but through at the rear of house you can't hear the chime and the app doesn't trigger on your phone so you don't know there is someone at the door. Absolute rubbish. Only fit for the bin!
