I love Cafe Zupas (I used to work there!), so I was super excited when the loyalty app was launched. Unfortunately, EVERY SINGLE TIME I have made it to the register and opened the app to scan for rewards, the app wants to require me to change my password. Every. Time. It's too much of a hassle to actually use. Super disappointed. My bank doesn't even require me to change my password as frequently as Zupas does.

For me when it first launched the app was a little bit glitchy. There was an offer to get a free salad and when I tried to redeem it it wouldn't work so I emailed customer service. They responded very promptly and put the offer right on the app and I haven't had any trouble since then. Customer service is great if you contact them so if you're having trouble I would recommend that highly as they seem to get things fixed very quickly. I think they do the best they can to make things right quickly

:Love the food! App is easy to see what to order & offers plenty of customized options for a menu item which I appreciate with my food allergies. My issue is when it comes time to checkout, I would get weird messages & could not order. Something is weird. I did send in a report on the app, I will update with any changes. UPDATE: They contacted me being very concerned. They asked for screenshots & the next time I ordered it worked with no issues! I appreciate a company who makes time to listen.

I'm on Android with the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The app didnt let me remove items from my cart! There was also a promo going on, and I was able to apply it at first. But then I had to delete my account and start over to see if it solved the cart issue. It didn't, and then the promo disappeared. The app is very buggy and didn't help me at all with my experience.

There have been quite a few bugs, but it's a nice way to skip the line when it works. I've never actually gotten enough points to earn anything free yet. And when they did a free drink promo for a month, it never worked for me even once. Also, they discontinued an item but the app doesn't handle it correctly, so trying to re order a previous order that contains discontinued items completely broke the app. I had to go to the Web and remove items from my cart to even get my app to work at all.

When I placed an order with the app on 6/16, it sent me a message an hour later that the order had failed. There was no explanation so I called the store and they said this had happened to many customers trying to use the new app. The store employee suggested that I try using the older app. Pretty annoying how they have been pushing this new app so much when it doesn't work.

This is a good app with an attractive interface and overall good user experience. One thing I would personally like to see change is the huge and easily clickable "featured" item on the dashboard. I accidentally click it every time I use the app. It takes up entirely too much screen space that could be dedicated to things users actually want and need, like quick access to see the menu and one's rewards. Overall, it works consistently and is easy to use.

It crashes multiple times before it finally works. Slow to load, especially the menu. Clunky back button and app menu, wish my phone back button would work on it to make it easier. It's so much faster to use the website, but then I can't get the rewards. I was so frustrated by the app that it makes me either not want to order or just go into the restaurant. I like the customization for each item. I wish it had descriptions for things like the cafe zupas sauce.
