it's a much better total solution than anything else on the market but the graphing within the app leaves a lot of be desired. especially if you try to look at a graph in landscape mode. if you don't laugh out loud when you see it you need a sensor of humor. but also things like switching easily between sensors should be one clock or a swipe and it's 3 clicks and in the live graph there should be the ability to pinch to zoom. again the monitor is great it's the graphing that needs overhauling

Latest release (3.5.0.6385) completely ruined the graphing which is the only use I have for this app. Did they fix anything that actually was a problem, such as not being able to graph all entries in the Home view (ie, the Balance category), no. So they broke what worked and didn't add any usefulness or fix anything. How do we revert? AND, please don't also break the web interface, that still works, at least today. Update, OK, now they broke that too.

The app works well but needs a few upgrades to be more helpful. It would be great if I could set the start and end date for the billing month. It would be nice to be able to turn off auto scaling so I could more easily compare periods that are displayed as I scroll from day to day. Another fix would be when I am using the month or week graph and I select a day if I could then select the day graph and it would display the graph for the day selected.

The graphics absolutely suck with the latest release. You CANNOT go to a day and zoom in. If you want to see a higher resolution, you have to start at the present time and swipe back one by one. For instance, if you want to see a 15 minute period yesterday, you have to swipe back minute by minute starting from right now. The only way to see a high resolution trend is to export the data and look at it in excel. REALLY SUCKS!

The recent graphing updates that removed the continuous scrolling ruined the usefulness of this feature. Being able to scroll continuously in the old versions let you get a good feel for how events developed and changed over time. The new interface that splits the time series into distinct graph pages completely chops up the graph. It is now completely disjointed. You can't see signals develop over time. You can't center the view on the area of interest. Please revert to old graph view.

Not a huge fan of the updates. I find it less useful to see negative bar graphs instead of all positive values but just highlighted in green to show net positive. Also not as useful when scrolling through time and it snaps to the nearest min, hr, day, week etc, instead of the continuous scrolling through time. For example, if I look at the past few days it only shows Mon since that's the first day of the week, and I can only view the days before that as Mon-Sun instead of it being continuous

I purchased a 4 pack of Emporia Smart plugs so I could monitor the energy use of my chest freezers in my garage. The app allows notifications for circuits on the more expensive Vue system (which I also bought,) but not for the plugs. I bought these plugs so I'll know if a freezer stops running. This seems like a reasonable function of the app, and excluding it seems like an oversight. I'll happily change my review if and when this functionality is enabled.

It's really great, tells you exactly which circuit is consuming how much, and have plenty of CTs for several circuits (I have 8 and 16, and planning to acquire another one). I have had them for three years now in different homes, and never had any issues at all; both are working like a charm. I asked for information on installation options, and received answer immediately (remember, three years ago). I think this is the better choice for power monitoring; highly recommended.
