When HB first switched to this new app, customers weren't given any warning or notice. Everyone lost their previous rewards. That was frustrating. Now with this new app, I can't use any of my new rewards at all. No matter when I try to use them after unlocking them, it will tell me the code is invalid and that the discount cannot be applied. Aside from being the only consistent way to be able to check the menu on mobile, the app is basically useless. I'm getting beyond frustrated at this point.

The new app is awful it's down half the time and too complicated to get rewards. I'm assuming there's no free drink monthly anymore for the highest tier either. Lost 2 the first two months in the new app (they were there but too complicated to use) and then by March I couldn't even find them. Awful timing with all of the new coffee places popping up. I've just started taking my business else where . It's not worth the hassle. Can't even order ahead half the time and can't upload gift cards.

Quite possibly one of the worst app/app updates I've ever encountered. First of all, it doesn't sync to your precious account so you have to open a brand new account. This means you lose your current status. Secondly, you can link your card for payment and therefore if you don't have your QR code scanned at time of purchase you can't earn your points. I even had 2 associates tell me you can scan this receipt and it will add your loyalty points. They were both wrong. So it's basically it's inept

This is trash. The old app was much more streamlined and easy to use. On the old app I could choose rewards and tip amount, the barista would scan my QR code, then I would automatically have a receipt sent to my email. Now they scan my code, and I have to choose a tip amount and way to chose a recipient on their POS. Did we learn nothing from Covid? I don't want to touch the same screen everyone else has touched. Several steps backwards.

The new app was easy enough to set up, however, I am disappointed with its function and appearance. It seems to have gone backwards. It appeared that my points (I had MANY) and free drink transferred but the first time I used the new app to pay, they all disappeared and were replaced with a new reward system, at a far lower amount. Also, I learned you can only use your rewards if you order ahead on the app, which is not my usual method and is not ideal. I hope they fix it soon.

Need to be able to add a tip on the app instead of still having to take the handheld cc machine to add one at the window. Trying to see and navigate rewards now is confusing and im still not sure how to redeem (or see) any, which i know i did have rewards left on the old app. The layout looks like a highschooler project. Can we not just go back to the previous layout. It was much easier to maneuver. I dont ever write reviews but since i was forced to swiched to this new app i had to..

After speaking to CS I got my account sorted out. When you had a previous account, you can't just sign in. You have to create a "new account," & your email address will link up your old account's tier status, credit & points. Though the point system is different now so after X points, it turns into a $6 credit. For example, I had a lot of points saved & $0 credit. I now have $84 credit & some additional points left over.

Heine Bros is a great coffee place but this new app is horrible! It constantly is crashing! It won't even allow you to use the points you have earned at the store but online orders only and then when you try to place an online order the app crashes before you can place the order. Also, you can no longer add additional flavors on the app when you are able to place the order.
